  1. that's fast Deadman! I'd love to get a sneak peak preview of the decals when you receive them. I just put and order out to a CNC company using speedone's plan (Cad plan for the famous "how to aces II.pdf") I'll post the progress in the pit builders thread. thanks for keeping us posted.
  2. If the shipping costs are acceptable like the decals count me in.
  3. I'm also interested if you need more buyers to get this rolling. looks like some nice work again.
  4. tonight Netherlands - Germany :D
  5. I found some CAD plans that also have an alternate panel for the A-10/F18(or something) styled seat that does not have a center ejection handle. (talking about the sides of the seatpan where the A-10 ejection handles should be, the surface should be horizontal). Also thinking about using Jedi's plans for just the seat and maybe make some small changes. That might be a less expensive solution and his design looks nice allready.
  6. good job! I will also be doing my homework doing some research on ACES II CNC plans. I got to have something to put some of the decals onto right? :)
  7. I made my Projection screen myself with an MDF board coated with 2 layers black non shining paint. After that I used a "tupplur" blackout curtain from IKEA (home depot). This curtain has a White nonsmooth (matt surface) finish and leaves absolutely no light trough it. I stapled the curtain to the MDF wood by stretching the sides for a smooth surface. I got a 100" projection screen for just $40. You might want to consider this for your curved/dome projection. Maybe you can build a wooden curved skeleton and stretch the curtains around it? http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=66615&d=1338069333 this is my BenQ W710ST (720P short throw with 40 degrees Keystone correction). Just 1 projector nearly giving you near 180 degrees. With 2 of these projectors you will get a very good 180 degrees/ maybe more.
  8. I tried DCS:World yesterday with the free SU25T because I'm not in my own house these two weeks. I see lots of improvements! Nice explosions and the SU25 is fun to fly so thanks ED. Can't wait to be home and install the A-10c for DCS World :)
  9. I like doing WP Patrol with the gun and some rockets, when I want to I use 2 GBU's. I try to drop the second one as mentioned before on the previous page with some lead from the second truck at about 5000 feet @ release. I use the "tank busting 101" practice mission a lot to try delivery techniques and learn more about all the loadouts and functions.
  10. awesome work Pancake! this will cost me more money because I want this. and i'm not even mentioning the inspirition I got from this for the caution panel! :D Good luck with the rest of the pit
  11. Hi guys this is my wannabe / whisky hog box better known as the whogbox 1.0 this is 100% own design and developed and upgraded everytime. (spend quite some time walking around at the home depot, qualitytime :) ) this means that this is the "test" pit (however its a joy to sit in) and is designed as a dry run for the more accurate version I am working on now. It's not really easy to find parts in the Netherlands but I will get there in some more months. At the moment I'm busy with the ACES II Seat and some panels and a new version of the center console and have it cut with professional gear. (not designed ''on the draw'') also the extension will become a bit shorter and the wires will be nicely put away. Every feedback is more then welcome. regards Whisky One
  12. Count me in! I would like to have one full A-10C set to enhance to my pit. Ill also send a PM.
