  1. awesome, enjoy it!
  2. Haha nice, I was looking for an upgrade kit some weeks ago overthere. good luck with installing and tuning everything.
  3. Nice MTFDarkEagle! let us know how you like the new upgrade and how smooth flying is. Where did you get the kit, at alternate? (dutch computer shop)
  4. My original '78 APU fire pull handle lights up red :D maybe new ones are orange/white when lit up. Forgot to say thanks for sharing the progress Frank! Great work.
  5. I'm also interested in some panels! please don't make it too british (the way everything breaks). kidding :D I have some great panels made by Linden. It would be cool to add some of your work to give my pit a unique character.
  6. I'm very sorry to hear this. My condolences to his family, loved ones and the community.
  7. nice videos Eddie. that confirms my question. must be helpfull for the topic starter also.
  8. I spend some time on the server tonight as Whisky1. I think 2 days ago I tried to keep up with an F15/F18 and a P51D. Later on I found out who they were on these forums. Nice to try formation flying. I'm on holidays tomorrow so I'll be joining a lot more in about three weeks! (then with teamspeak!)
  9. nice one. Is it better to go upside down, pull on the stick and then level off and track the gun cross towards the target?
  10. I'm sure he got it sorted out. Mine had a cable mix-up but the service is great. I just got my replacement cable. Yesterday I managed to disassemble the device. Now i'm waiting untill tonight for my sealant (filler) to dry so I can connect it. Zahry: The top part now protrudes for about 2 or 3 mm and the bottom cable sticks out a lot more (I put it in as far as I could). I think Í did it right. Do you got any tips/guidelines? Edit: Works good now! tomorrow i'll do the offset. (I had to forget something) :)
  11. I'm very sorry for your loss Linden. Take care.
  12. Hahaha that is just awesome. looks like one hell of a job to get it there. enjoy working on it and just having it there!

HI Geneb, you can possibly go around that problem by using the keystone correction or maybe even a mirror. My fake canopy frame throws shadows on my projection screen too, so I placed my projector higher behind my seat and use the keystone correction to get that nice square image. My projection screen is placed in an angle and flooks good. You also have the feeling you are looking down with a little angle when you are on the runway. I tried to imitate that after studying some pics.
  14. hell no you will not Linden ! :D My pit progress is also hybernating a bit since I moved into my new house, but I will finish my a-10c lookalike pit :)
  15. nice work guys. fun to watch too. I enjoyed it when you guys started with abusive language when the action started :D I saw you engaging some vehicles and infantry with multiple bursts in one run, is that used in real life? I know about double strafes,i'm just curious about how, let's say 4 works with a real A-10.
  16. that's cool Zahry I'll send you an email. I read about your nice service so I don't care about a little wire mix-up. not your fault. The extension feels solid, moves smooth, easy to install and the offset adjuster is also very easy.
  17. Hi man I had to try my extension. bad news: my aircraft and views go everywhere. The axis work fine but when I go to game controller settings all my buttons light up with intervals. Do i have to change some wires? Despite my experience I like the construction and looks so it is a great product.
  18. Hi Zahry I just got a message from home that my NZ package arrived. It had been held up a couple of days at our great Dutch customs. I will try to test and enjoy it later on this week.
  19. Hi man, look at my post http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1487989 if you don't have it it is a pretty good CAD file with the A10 flat sides.
  20. Ow yes I went black on the container.:music_whistling: The risers are fixed. I also started with drawing the pitot tubes from hell. :) I also permanently fixed the oxygen bottle and made some kind of lap belt from an old holster belt and a snap release used for fastening stuff. I might be moving in about a week so I at least got to finish the pitot tubes and the mount for the emergency parachute release. edited : I made the little support-bracket for the oxygen hose from 1mm aluminium.
  21. Hi man I also have a BKGamer 2. I use 2 door mats to isolate the vibrations . In my new room I will also put sound isolating floorboards below the entire pit. finding the right settings during flight is what I try. Once I do the startup I turn the BK on. A couple of clicks on the + and then I'll taxi. (when the red light is on lower the volume with the - button. that's the ideal setting. I cutoff the high frequency at around 80-110. when you are building up speed on the runway you should have a good rumble. after the flaps and gear is up I lower the volume a couple of clicks with the - button. Then with the correct setting you can feel the GAU-8 without the red light on.
  22. Hi Zahry I just ordered my extension today. (im the exclusively intelligent guy that forgot to mention the size) So I've sent you an email. looking forward to it.
  23. nice mission, can you share it?
  24. what retard would do a wheely on a mini quad, on a runway when there is a low flying over confident/disturbingly professional pilot around?
  25. Yes LT, it is visible from short range like you said (as a red coloured light). But when you cover it it's not visible from longer range. I use a mesh on the IR light (the same as snipers have to eliminate scope/sun reflection.) I use them for navigating/spotting nightlife in the woods on my nocturnal trips :) Really cool to read that the hogs have more toys to use at night.
