  1. Put your livery painted layers in the folder that says "liveries go HERE!" Depending if you have Night style skin or Day style, and hide one of them you are not using. Use the correct FS colors and let the AO and highlight layers do their work to make it look realistic.
  2. It's shared with the compass light.
  3. M2000C= 301716 AV8BNA = 206068 It's not polygons.
  4. AV8BNA Paint Kit Depending on what version you will do, Day or Night Scheme (Highlighted in Blue in the layers section of Photoshop) you place your newly created Livery in the Red Group "Liveries go HERE!". The way the Paint Kit is set up so you don't have to worry about painting out of the lines over other items such as the gear. The Paint covers 3 textures:: T1 = Front Fuselage/Intakes and Nose gear. T2 = Wings and Out Riggers. T3 = Aft Fuselage/Tail and Main Gear. The Paint Kit doesn't supply T4 (Engine Nozzles/Inside Intake) or Pylons Depending on which version you use, you can find Day or Night scheme that will match your newly created Livery in a pre-made Livery folder depending on it's name *D (Day scheme) or the [DCS Root]/Coremods/aircraft/AV8BNA/Texture folder for the Night Scheme. Stay tuned for further updates and location to download the Paint Kit.

    HUD shape

Thanks, yes new material... Also the M2000C UPDATE has the same material for it's HUD. I didn't want you guys to freak out, it has been mentioned before on another forum, so I wanted to let you guys know. The preview copies every one is seeing in Youtube are old builds. We are putting a lot of love into this to get it right. Give me a few and I'll try to take a better pic of the glare shield from above angle in modelviewer to see it taper in.

    HUD shape

Look at the previous comment with the screen screenshot of the straight on orthographic view compared to what you see in DCS, the glare shield does dip in. The FOV really screws up 2D view. VR is a different story. Here is a pic of the latest HUD glass.

    HUD shape

As for the glare shield and HUD glass, I would say wait until it comes out before speculating it's shape or any video of preview build. The ones that were given out for preview are 20 builds behind from what came out last week. Even the material in the HUD glass has changed. That old video was initial for panel sections not glare shield really early development of the cockpit for gauge and panel placement. The FOV really distorts the shape of glare shield and HUD when coming out at you, or going up from below.

  10. intakes have been rounded as well.
  11. Yeah the specular is there but the material in Max is unchecked. It will be fixed when we create PBR materials in the upcoming future.
  12. More wing damage modeling.
  13. Updated WIP.
  14. If you look closer, the dented area in the pics is the radar unit before the radome. I can revise the the radome to crumble more like a composite material.
  15. Damage work.
  16. We have cockpit warnings/magic tone sounds from real Mirage. Canopy is not motorized and the Mirage has JFS no APU.
  17. Yes, already adding more polygons in the canopy bow.
  18. or in US terms a Jet Fuel Starter (JFS)
  19. THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR THE COMPLIMENTS!!! The -5 and C are not the same, even the Glare Shields are different. Sure the basic shape of the tub is similar since the -5 is an upgraded Mirage 2000C but the dash is completely different. Also C and B use the same HUD unit, the D is different. Also some cockpits have Gun Cameras mounted and some don't. This is why pictures vary for the front of the HUD control panel. As for the height of the POV, this is a Delta Wing Aircraft with high AOA and pilots do adjust their seat higher to get a better view. Again another issue is with the Sim's camera angle s perspective.
  20. Hey Everyone, Thanks for the comments and there is only so many screenshot I can take to were they just become boring. Once we get some coding done, we will start showing the systems working.
  21. I don't know, I started up a quick mission. and it was in the back ground
