  1. The real mirrors can not fold outward like "other" aircraft, so they use a texture, no lower resolution, just a texture. That's why you get the FPS gain. This is like the M2000C, the AV8BNA, and F-14. Even i removed the mirrors model all together you will not see any change in FPS.
  2. They do not go to a lower resolution, they use this texture, F-15E_T15. It has no more effect on your FPS as any other texture in the cockpit. I made the model.
  3. They do turn off, it starts as off. There is fake mirrors and the regular mirrors. The F-15E's Mirrors cannot fold/stow them so it the mirror is replaced with a fake texture, that doesn't cause any FPS loss.
  4. What is your video card? How much VRAM, it could be a VRAM saturation that is the cause the lower FPS.
  5. It's simple. The Special Option is what it says, it allows you to decide how many max background threads to use. Its defaulted it to 4 threads. Depending on your processor is going to determine what works best, only you can address this by finding the sweet spot. There is 2 threads to every core your processor has.

    Tyre pressures

We put Michelin Air X on this baby. hehe Along them way I'll make it so we can start blowing out tires (visually) but I don't know anything on the coded side.
  7. This is only if you are bringing art in from another file into the paint kit. You would convert the profile so when you bring into the paint kit it won't look washed out. Edit/Convert to Profile/ select Custom RGB. Set Gamma to 2.0 and White Point should default to 6500K and choose your Primaries, can leave it as HDTV or use Adobe (1998)
  8. The Paint kit uses a 16bit Custom RGB color profile. Please use Nvidia Plugin to export to BC7 and make sure "Override Filter Width" unchecked. Do not use intel Plugin to export, it will apply a sRGB profile and make it look dark.
  9. From your dmp file. Weapons.dll crashed
  10. This is due to the pilot model's hands parented to the HOTAS and when they are turned off those polygons lose where to go and shoot off somewhere to infinity and beyond. Will see if can be redone so when leaving the front seat the hide controls go off and the they come back.
  11. My apology, I thought the coder changed it to 8cm as default, sorry for the misunderstanding. The numbers are the centimeters themselves, if that clears it up. Yes change the track ir to 8 to set it properly to the pilot model
  12. Ok Thank you, added to my list.
  13. It's still being worked on. The reason the pilot animation and your 1st person view aren't lining up is due to the original DCS limitations on the pilot animation. In the beginning the Pilot models would only look left and right at 90 degrees. The F-15E pilots have much higher rotation value as to almost turning around in the seat. This presently causes a limitation and difference in the model and your 1st person rotation on your head. It should be sorted out in some time during EA. My apologies. 8cm is the exact location of the eyes of the model in 3D space.
  14. Hi Yoyo, First, I hope all is well. Explaining a few things with relation to the view point and the Option in the Special Options Menu. null The green cross hair is 0,0,0 in the model and the virtual eye point of where the view originally positioned. The red line from the green 0,0,0 eye point is exactly 8cm to the Eye. Original 0,0,0 eye point is set there for people who do not have Track IR or VR setups to allow them to see the inside MPD buttons covered by the UFC's sides due to the perspective. It simulates as if the person has their head resting against the back of the ejection seat. If a person who wants to setup their VR to the exact spot in the model we have it set to default at 8cm and go to 10cm as personal preference. For the "Monitor Eyepoint Offset this defaults for none Track IR users are able to move to the desired position or to the correct 3D Model eyepoint of 8cm as well. Take care, Tim
  15. M-2000C Helmet Texture As promised. Sorry it took a while.
  16. Hi FoxOne, no "photo" - 100% 3D scan only, thanks.
  17. Yes will be working on that. But only Throttle and Flight Stick only for right. can't guarantee Nozzle Lever, but will see what we can do to work with ED on this..
  18. If you start a flight and press RIGHT SHIFT P, nothing happens you didn't get an update. Or you got issues with the install and would recommend to remove and add it again. DCS 2.5.6.59398 Open Beta
  19. Open Beta Update yesterday [Right Shift P] Everyone thanks and Happy Holidays, be safe. Will be adding more features to it, something I don't think people have noticed, right now the G Suit inflates, subtle effect, noticeable if you are looking for it. This will also go for the M-2000C Pilot in the future too.
  20. Ok when it comes out, it will be missing patches that will come next update, and other secret sauces on him. Right now depending on which livery you fly there are 3 different versions; You have the "Olive Drab", "Desert", and "Pumba" Styles. I hope you guys like him.
  21. It has been uploaded to ED and awaiting the next OB update on Dec 16th.
  22. Real AV8B Grip on the left and TM F-18 grip on the right. Swapped Sensor Select and Trim the sticks are very close in dimensions. The real AV8B Stick weighs less.
