  1. Epic. Simply Epic :D .
  2. Random Question: Can anyone remember who it was who made the furry dust covers for the Cougar? They had a red 'Remove Before Flight' label on them. I still have mine and reckon it is the single most reason why my 'stock' Cougar still works. Wonder if the original maker/manufacturer will make a set for the Warthog?
  3. Nope, that's the modelling of the hydraulic system that does that ;) Love how you have to 'squelsh' the static on the radios. Beautiful. Loving the interactive training missions! Reminds me of the Falcon ramp start trainer, only better :)
  4. lol! I may end up doing the same.
  5. Thanks Flim. They look pretty good and at an affordable price too. Looking forward to seeing more info on the SCS setup :)
  6. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't take me too long to knock up a decent profile for FC2. Would give me something to do while I'm waiting for the A-10C! :joystick:
  7. No worries mate  Let me know if it's worth a read.
  8. Mower, it looks like it is the Nov issue (206), as one of the guys mentioned that it was the issue with Bismark clocking Washington on the cover. http://media.pcgamer.com/files/2010/09/1110_PCG_CVR-evensmaller.jpg I'm only using my awsome powers of deduction ;) , so don't take this as red :D Can anyone confirm this?
  9. Not surprised at all tbh. There's been jack-all build up to its release, and as mentioned, next to no info regarding the software.
  10. Ahhrgh, that's a shame and almost a deal breaker. Think I'll stick with my Saiteks for now. Thanks for the info Sweinhart.
  11. Because I already have it and it will therefore cost me nothing :D Seriously though, I think the whole touch screen idea is great. I still like the tactile feel of keys though. However, saying that I do like my iPhone interface. I think the fact that there is a sound coupled with the keypress helps to give a pseudo tactile 'feel'. Flim> Do you have any links to the tochscreen supplier that you used? Is it something we can buy direct from SCS? I see so many people posting links to touch screens and other LCDs and invariably they are the wrong device for the job. Would be interested to see what you guys have used.
  12. Yep, it's the Tipro MID-KM128A that I've got. Mines in Black rather than 'PC brown' :D Damn it, I'm gonna dig that out tonight and create an A-10 overlay for it. Or, I could buy another one for A-10C and keep my existing one for Falcon. Shame they don't do a USB version otherwise I could be tempted... Hmmm... No, common sense is kicking in. Need cash for TM Warthog! Paper and scissors it is :D Good news regarding Helios, Flim. I'm eagerly awaiting to see some more info on this. .
  13. Can any of the Simped-F16/USB users out there comment on whether it has dual toe breaks? I know that my Simped F16 gameport pedals (for the Cougar) only had one toe break (bizarrely) , so it was impossible to have independent toe breaking. May have to sell mine and upgrade to the USB version soon.
  14. I agree, I think you guys are perfectly welcome here, but I understand your concern... Looks like a brilliant solution for those who want a compact solution without the need for building a large, expensive pit. I think it will be awesome for the A-10C. I'll be watching with eager interest! One question: Have you factored in the new TM Warthog when designing the side panels?
  15. If key bindings are given for the CDU I may have to dig out my old Tipro programmable keyboard that I used for Falcon. Haven't used that for years!
  16. And also your flight plan, iirc. It's function is similar in principle to that of an airliner CDU, I believe. It would be great if it is modelled closely to that of the real thing.
  17. Nothing mentioned on the website either: http://www.pcgamer.com/category/magazine/latest-issue/
  18. Sounds like a big "No" then?!
  19. Which issue number is it in? Might try and get hold of a copy if it's worth reading?
  20. Big time!;) With any luck it will be out soon. However long it takes, I'm sure it will be worth the wait. :D
  21. The lack of any further, official announcements from TM worries me slightly.
  22. Thanks, that's a shame. Was hoping to grab a copy over here. I'm sure the UK issue will be different...
  23. I'd write 'dull gaming code' any time of the year if I could! ;);) Was that a UK or US issue? Wouldn't mind a read of that...
  24. I hadn't seen that, so thanks!
  25. Awesome
