  1. 1.2.5 broke many SLMod functions, including this one
  2. Well try flying with a blindfold on and we'll find out ;)
  3. Two ground speeds? Maybe if you've got a flux capacitor installed ;) Maybe you mean True Airspeed which is Ground Speed corrected for wind?
  4. Sounds about right. The indication is kph not kts, and it indicates ground not airspeed. So it also is dependent on wind.
  5. I've had some issues come up with the old drivers and gave the new version another shot with this suggestion and it worked. Then I changed it to Direct Input and it still worked and it seems to have sorted out an issue that made TARS unusable for me, so double thanks ! Would give you rep but I need to spread first
  6. For hands on flying, press the blue 'FD' button on the autopilot panel. That will disable autopilot function but maintain stabilization functions.
  7. Yes, I've had that with the most recent driver (version 7). With the version 6 drivers, everything's working fine. ftp://ftp.saitek.com/pub/software/full/Saitek_X52Pro_Flight_Controller_SD6_64.exe ftp://ftp.saitek.com/pub/software/full/Saitek_X52Pro_Flight_Controller_SD6_64_Software_.exe
  8. I think it's not simulating the light retracting but the light not going from on to off in an instant but reducing the intensity to zero within a second.
  9. To be precise, the host needs to have this set.
  10. What do you expect? Getting more modules, new vapor and wing flex effects, updated aircraft models or a new graphics engine without increased hardware requirements? Same with FSX, a standard install doesn't require that much space. But if you want high fidelity aircraft, photo-realistic ground textures and high quality airports, you're gonna have to pay with additional space on the hard drive and an increased load on CPU / GPU. It's your choice to do so and it's not gonna come out of thin air... And as mentioned above, most of the files in an update replace others, they're not new.
  11. Well regarding point 2, I use my scripts by pasting them into the Do Script textbox. Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V is a lot quicker than selecting the file again. Not perfect but not a massive inconvenience either
  12. You don't need to have any specific vehicles. It's sufficient for the airfield to belong to your coalition. You can set that in the Mission Editor by clicking on an airfield, or by placing any kind of vehicle near the airfield
  13. Doublecheck you have the 'Uncontrolled' checkbox set
  14. Did you try opening the mission in the ME and resaving it?
  15. no just wrap the call of dynadd in the action into scheduleFunction
  16. As far as I can tell, it's doubtful that we'll get our hands on either DCS module within the next 12 months, so go for the Superbug
  17. When I did something like that in my CSAR script, I used Continuous Action -> Flag is true -> Group Deactivate until the SSE provided the groupDeactivate function
  18. It's not going to work like that because the switched condition trigger only performs the action once when the condition changes. try wrapping the dynadd into mist.scheduleFunction instead
  19. Temporary ones. Useless stuff that can occupy quite a significant amount of space if you never clear it.
  20. Don't forget C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS But good stuff
  21. I doubt that's possible. You can't change a country's coalition mid-mission and afaik, neither can you place units of a country that does not belong to either coalition in the first place. The only possibility would be to despawn a group and create an identical group of another country. e.g. despawn a georgian T-72 and spawn a russian one.
  22. Yes. We had some guys with low fps while on the ramp, probably due to the large city of Tbilisi plus 12 A-10Cs to render, but once we were lined up, it was sorted out.
  23. Sure, go ahead
  24. Try enforcing padlock off in the mission
