  1. Thanks guys, you did a great job during those years and I really hope I'll be visiting Your server again for more fun with upcoming DCS:MiG-21bis. I would really like to know what made you go down? It's quite surprising decision!
  2. Believe me, Saitek is a good bang for buck... I own TM Cougar and Hog for use with fighter jet sims but I also have Saitek AV8R-01 that I bought out of fun and used with Il-2 and FS for props. However, out of curiosity I tried flying Su-27 and MiG-29 with it and without too much calibrating curves and deadzones and programming switches I can say it's pretty good for LOFC birds...I've spent days and days tweaking Cougar to a satisfactory performance in close formation MP flights. With AV8R-01 all it took was plugging it... My unmodded Cougar is from 2006 - no hardware / software problems so far although the centreplay probably did increase in between with use over time. It's hard to say as I use it almost every day so wear an tear is impossible to note. Can be compared to struts of a car. You can't say they got bad until you replace 'em with new ones. ;) AV8R-01 is 2008 - no SW/HW problems, no structural failure. TM hog - 2010, still too new for any SW/HW opinions.
  3. LOL! cool
  4. It's a MiG-29A mod but there's MiG-29S in first screenshot, please change that...
  5. ^^^^ Any chance of seeing L-39 in DCS:World as a flyable?
  6. ^^^^ I don't speak German but I guess the runway isn't long enough for her!
  7. 'cause it's owned, operated and maintained by a Yankee dude!
  8. Don't be too sure about it. A-10A can do loops using single engine...I also think the image shown is Photoshopped here's the real bird: http://s362974870.onlinehome.us/forums/air/index.php?showtopic=179581
  9. One of the SP Hogs was damaged by SAM in similar way during Allied Force '99. She landed at Skopje (MAC). This might be a animated show about it, however tail markings don't match!
  10. What's wind gotta do with it?
  11. What' kind of a pod is it at 0:57 ?!
  12. There's this one: http://www.dtic.mil/dtic/tr/fulltext/u2/a143860.pdf
  13. AFAIK, there are three airworthy MiG-35 aircraft in total, each of them is used as a testbed / demonstrator. Publishing any relevant documents that represent serial production type is yet too early so I don't think there's a way of proper implementation with DCS. Production rates of today's Russian aircraft is very low compared to the days of USSR. Without any signed contracts with PVO & VVS or with foreign Airforce I don+t think this fact is about to change so accurate documents are hard to obtain or don't even exist.
  14. I just watched Red Tails and I like it. Shots of the city where Sofia lives in recorded in Rovinj, Croatia: It really was an Italian city Rovigno up until 1945 when it was taken by Yugoslavia.
  15. Cold War Jets: Gotta love these Buccaneers!
  16. Su-27 KNAAPO family: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wAJXEhZ_2mg&feature=related
  17. Coughing is a symptom of lungs being polluted. Looks like there not enough oxy but lots of other stuff coming thru Raptor oxy mask.
  18. It's gotta be streamlined as much as possible...it's obviousely the most important system on Raptor.
  19. The only way to take off in pair is to start from runway. Actually in FC1 wingman would usually rush to the runway, take off before you start up your engines and go thru all checks and loiter over airbase waiting for you to finally TO. With FC2 this is fixed so wingman waits for you before you start rolling.
  20. Man, that's too messed up to be reliable. What's the purpose of such system?! I'd add few diving bottles of compressed oxy to solve this "clean" air for Raptor driver problem.
