  1. And just like that, 2020 is looking to be a great year. Looking forward to this. KA-50 head would be the icing on a cake.
  2. While theres some concern about "maintaining support for old hardware", I'm personally ok with them making new products and improving old ones. I have the rev a. gunfighter and I've gotten my share of hours of use from it, and don't really feel like rev b. would be a significant upgrade. Sure theres bound to be some improvements over time, but they dont make my rev a worse in any way.
  3. Thank you, thats correct. Maybe i used wrong term when speaking of lock washers, but meant spring washers. This is why I got a bit confused http://forum.vkb-sim.pro/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=3454&sid=cc890db1b258e54981049d5dc988aa28 Theres some difference there, no? Idk if it matters or what led to the change of using 2 lock/spring washers on one axis.
  4. Anyone got the correct order of washers, cams, nuts etc for gf mk1 axes? Too much forum reading made me doubt myself. And why not mk2 as well while were at it, if they are any different. I believe there is small difference in how many washers and lock washers there are for mk1 and mk2.
  5. Excellent pedals, even if i have had some minor issues due to being early models. All solved with Milan helping out with "how to do this if you dumb as a rock" level of instructions. Like adding an extra m8 nut to magnet assembly etc, which have been fixed in later versions. I'd buy them again if I had to, for any reason.
  6. Got one of these for cheap and tried it out, eventually got it working, so I'm happy. Wasn't exactly a walk in the park for me, but works well now. Thanks and good job doing all this, tried to wrap my head around it a bit but thats a bit much for me.
  7. I got the brake lever working as axis with a button press at the end of travel. Now, its probably more a dcs ka-50 module issue than the joystick. I've assigned the brake lever axis to brakes, and the button press to parking brake, both work fine. Except in game, if you move the lever after the button press for brakes, its resets the parking state. Any way to get over that? Almost sure its just how the dcs module is set to work. Edit: Also, if anyone can help with the flip up trigger for gun select, that would be nice. Atm its "working" somewhat, but again its probably just the ka-50 module working funny with toggle switches, have to flip it back and forth a few times for gun select to get working.
  8. And here I am wishing the massive clown fiesta of eu dealer would finally be over. Unlikely to happen any time soon. Going for other manufacturers in the future, that much is certain by now.
  9. I hope its as good as it sounds, the thrustmasters factory slew is just bad. The best of luck to you, great work so far.
  10. I wouldn't go that far. GF mk1 owner here, still waiting for a compatible mcg pro. While the warthog grip has been ok for now, I'd rather have what was promised ages ago. I feel scammed, honestly.
  11. If you are eu customer and want to get a new stick within a year, go virpil. VKB has been nothing but broken promises so far.
  12. I guess there is still some time left, but I'd be really surprised if that happened. No update so maybe they are working on it still.
  13. Shame theres no collective "head" for the ka-50, I remember one being planned. Long ago tho.
  14. Well, that date is long gone now. What is really impressive is vkbs lack of communication. :megalol:
  15. "To clarify questions about MCG / MCG Pro for Gunfighter Mk.I: There will be no separate MCG in the EU bulk shipment in April, however, we will offer those grips for Gunfighter Mk.I owners with shipment in June. Some variants could be available earlier." Eduard in vkb forums. I guess we will get them eventually. The long wait continues. :music_whistling:
  16. https://flightsimcontrols.com/2018/03/new-vkb-products-are-on-their-way-to-eu/ "What we will offer for EU customers: Gunfighter Mk.II Pro/non-Pro with MCG Pro/non-Pro grip with En/Ru engravings Gunfighter Mk.II KG12 T-Rudder Mk.IV Basically we are going to offer the full range of Gunfighter Mk.II line. " So, no mcg for rev a gunfighter base?
  17. Now imagine being an eu customer. :helpsmilie:  Oh well at least i get a few months extra to put some money on the side.
  18. Heres my "high tech" solution to mounting gunfighter to the warthog mount, 8 nuts and bolts + some plexiglass. The plexiglass is thick enough to sink in the inner bolt heads so the gunfighter stays flush against the plexiglass. So far been good, ignore the dust tho.
  19. Honestly, stunning work mate, can't wait to see your CDU and UFC panels for A10, even if buying them is a pipedream for me. Keep up the good work.
  20. Its not too expensive, a bit costly but nothing wallet devastating :) I guess it will be around 200 eurobucks for us eu customers. :helpsmilie:
  21. Ordered mine too, idk after how much waiting really, so happy now. Since I will be using warthog handle with extension, is there a way to make it work like heli sticks? You know, move it to point a and it stays there and does not return to center.
  22. Alrighty, thanks for answers, I guess I will wait for the gunfighter to appear and make my decision then. Cheers!
  23. Might as well ask in this thread, are there any good alternatives to the warthog stick base? I really like the stick, but the base is a bit of an issue for me. Something that would work with up to 20cm extension. Is it possible to use baurs products this way? Like the base+warthog grip, while keeping the buttons functioning. I don't care if it does not support target software, I dont really use that anyway.
  24. The issue seems to be fixed now, dont really know how or why, but anyway. I disassembled the pedals a bit, cleaned most surfaces just for why not(there wasnt much to clean), replaced the heatshrink tube on the magnet(again for no particular reason, "just in case") and took care to tighten the screws equally. Seems to work ok now. My best guess is a loose bolt/screw somewhere. My pedals are around 1 year old, and see a fair bit of use. On another note, i could get the centerpoint to around 40% if i repeatedly pushed the pedals to left and let them go back center, it would add a tiny amount of off-center each time. Still the best purchase ive probably ever done when it comes to hobbies
  25. Hello everyone, I've had my crosswinds for some time now and noticed a minor issue with them. Over long sessions of playing, the center drifts to the left little by little. Running the calibration fixes it for some time, but it happens again. Tested around a bit, and it seems to start happening whenever I push the left pedal to max, the centering point does not stay at 50% but comes back to around 49.5% and the right side does not go to 100% after that. The more times I push the left to max, the more the centerpoint drifts away to the left. Recalibration solves that tho. Maybe a loose magnet or something?
