glad to know I'm not the only one, hope its just a system bug and not some ass, and not something worse, for a sec I thought it was just me and spent a hr running scans to make sure, lets hope for the best.

Change of Password emails hey all anyone get like 3-4 password change emails from ED automated system, I know I didn't request a password change yet it sent me 4 for no reason, I ran a check on my system and changed my password just in case but found it strange. It never said it was changed just gave me a link to change it, on OCT 30, and the source email says it came from their server, so wondered if anyone else got anything like that. cheers

Hi all Anyone notice during engine fire that the engine temperature readings are normal, I will double check oil temperature again, but I know during a active fire with flame the engine reads normal and doesn't spike, and from what I remember the A-10 does the same thing. I find it a issue since I tend not to go 3d person to see if a fire is raging and not know what is going on since sometimes no fire warning is displayed in the cockpit. anyone else? if it's confirmed can they add engine temp spikes in so I can tell that my engine turbine blades are melting away on me :D

for the x-52 or me i set it as my throttle thumb switch, this way my strongest finger is on it, as it also acts as the laser painter when bomb is released, i tend to use it when im to lazy to program laser timer.

Hi all anyone know if they going to add support for registering DCS site purchases on steam? I was able to activate black shark 2, a-10, combined arms etc, but I was unable to do it for the UJ1 moduale for steam. thanks also.....Mi 8! my fav heli ;p out now, can't believe it ;p

hey all Is it possible that you can add support and squadrons for Polish Air force, right now for my su-25T and other fixed wing, I'm flying under the Russian banner, and wouldn't mind having it.

at first I thought i had a bad joystick but my other sims didn't do it, ill try your tip, on a side note, i wish i could afford their new flight stick, its nice but at 500 bucks, a bit pricy ;p its basically a replica of the button positioning of the A-10 from what I can tell ;p thanks for the help, glad to see I wasn't the only one with this issue, you start thinking its :joystick: or your usb port lol :thumbup:

I don't see this being much of a issue, I support it if you can port your modules to steam, considering ubi, ea etc have separate network logins that run along side steam such as uplay and origin...i don't see a issue with it, the only issue I would make sure is that the network code supports steam/non steam server support, I don't want to have issues playing with someone online and can't because i use non steam and they use steam for match making. steam is the right move on market, more:pilotfly: and more people going :doh:when we shoot them down :p

Hi I noticed with the SAITEK X52 that when i zoom in with the throttle slider, the view jumps back and forth, randomly zooms in and out, it doesn't do it if you zoom all the way in or zoom out to default zoom level. I tried to change the slider to another slider on the joystick but still causes the issue. I suspect that maybe the game doesn't like the position of the slider? :helpsmilie::joystick:

Can you please add radar screen to detect and engage aircraft, instead of just visual range, would love to add S-300 systems and use actually radar track and fire system rather then look,lock, and shoot.

left panel has mute master and master volume it's with the radio gear mid left near the thrust.

Same here, I noticed the same issue, after action report shows i'm scoring hits on the trucks or what have you, yet they keep going. And I love using analog rockets, to be honest I find it less taxing on the mind :) and why use a 30k weapon to kill a soft skin truck, i just hope they fix it :helpsmilie:

the frog is a ground attack aircraft like the a10, the a10 on its own can be killed by fighters just the same. it was used up to the most recent ossetia war and did fine, im tired of this american tec is better then russia crap, how about we talk about KA 50 having ejection seats and apache doesnt and see what tech buys you when you go down with the heli and the KA pilots walk away.

if you create a new mission and put a b52 to do a ship attack, it will lauch a crap load of cruise missles at the enemy ship, its fun to watch :p you should try it :p as for what i remember, i guess maybe im thinking of another game, the only way i can be sure is to install modern air combat thats been on my shelf for a good number of years. someone posted about the old su 25, ya lock on modern air combat had the old su 25, and the T model, the old version had a round hud with a analog crosshair etc. i actually found it easier to lock on to things with it, although the laser recharge time was long and you could only run the laser for 5 to 10 seconds before it started recharging to prevent it from burning out.

it wont let you if you have not installed a serial. it will put you in spec mode. make sure you installed the "moduale" and not the earlier full game, then enter the serial when asked. you will noticed after world is installed the moduales for each game is very small because dcs world has alreay installed everything, it just needs to unlock. on the dcs website look for "moduales" and find dcs a-10c. http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/index.php?end_pos=136&scr=products&lang=en

hi all I know todays a10 AGM use autopilot to guide the missile to target after release, but coming from lock on and the classic 90's area a10a had agms that where tv command guided from rack to target that allowed you to make course corrections etc as the missile flew. the AGM is in the encyclopedia but i cant seem to find it in the missile selection load out screen. does dcs allow tv guided agms anymore or is that only a product of the older a10c. the reason i ask is entertainment factor :P i loved guiding my missiles from rack to target :P I just wanted to know if real world they gone away with it, and so they have done away with it in game. as for real world as far as i can tell the isrealies are the only ones still useing active tv guided agms. anyway anyone that can tell me that would be great, its driving me nuts, personally i liked the older AGM better as you could adjust missles needed instead of fire and forget.

ya, its actually in the a10 start up training, at least it is pre dcs world, its in the test menu on the hud, during startup or in flight set the hud to test mode next to the arm switch i think, but i seen it so i know you can do it, when i run a kernal memory test i swear i seen it.

the best investment i made was a monitor that supported 120htz instead of 60, helps with moving transitions. the benq tx gaming series (the older one) is really good, sadly pricey but worth the buy
