I thought the gun sight had a radar on it so all I had to do was put the pipper on my target, it gets a lock and I fire. I find this is not the case or at least maybe there wasn't a tone. I know the sight adjust itself automatically since it's the A-4? Am i doing somethign wrong haha. I'm trying to engage furthest when i go guns at .3nm?

It's a bug, but to what extent is it? I mean, we all know of the F-15 that came back with one wing. The A-10C that the pilot didn't even notice her engine was missing. Just because you lose something off the aircraft doesn't mean it's bound to crash. It's very likely, yes, but not always. I had both of my elevators gone but was able to belly land her. Here's an old thing to remember. If you have your choice to lose everything but one control on the aircraft(Rudder, Ailerons, Elevator) which would you keep? The answer is the rudder. Power controls pitch, rudder controls YAW and roll. Think about it.

I don't think they will since they never did hand out steam keys...The keys you buy through ED prior to the whole STEAM/ED switch was that the keys you bought through ED would be transferred to the STEAM servers so that way you could do just as you said. However, now that they have the new agreement ED is no longer transferring they're keys to steam, unless, you do it vice-versa, buy from steam then activate it on ED standalone. I would say wait for the steam release if you want it on STEAM and just a rumor but Aug. 9th I hear is when it'll be available on STEAM.

I opened up the module manager now and see that I can install it, However, everytime I try it fails. Come sooner August.

Yup, however, it seems that he reactivated them on STEAM(bought them from steam too) and it still persists. I know there's no key transfer problem so im just gonna have him get rid of the steam version and go stand-alone.

So now, we've figured out that the TF-51 and SU-25T cockpits load fine its A-10C and Flaming Cliffs 3 that are having issue's. It's like it knows he owns them but won't load the cockpits...not to sure what to do

Another thing we've discvored is that in his F-15C Axis controls he has Absolute views while on my game I have Cockpit View for the Trackir

Still same issue continues for him. He tried it in the MIG29A and the cockpit he described as 8-bit but it isn't that bad of course. Steam file check didn't find anything wrong. His settings after returning them all to default the issue continues.

I'm having him currently do a file check because he has it on STEAM. It seem its more he's just missing the cockpit, but that doesnt even seem right since it was just working the other day before he got it...

Negative, however, he's changing some view settings on his joystick he setup. Thanks though for the suggestion.

So my friend recently got TrackIR and his this issue with all aircraft. He says he hasn't touched anything other then changing axis's for controls but not the TIR. Any idea's I'll try to provide more info but for now this is what he basically gets. See screenshot.

Angry Birds has sold more copies then DCS because toddlers can play that game. I've yet to see a toddler drop JDAM's on multiple targets while coordinating SEAD, CAP, and CAS packages. This is a simulator. Not a game. While it does have "Easy game modes" and simplified flight models all you have to do in angry birds is swipe your finger across the screen.

Totally agree! Picked it up a couple hours after I saw it the website thinking at least my wallet will be happy when August comes around knowing i already paid for her :)

CLASS A(Have to file flight plan) starts at 18,000 and yeah like the guy said above once you get cleared to or through you flip to standard. No idea what how the military does it.

Hey guys! Been stalking the forums and your website long enough to start noticing that some of your banner pictures there show the P-38. Is that something that is down the pipeline that will be added to the WW2 set since VEAO and ED(RRG) is also doing some old birds? Looking forward to that 21!

Did you enable G-Effects under options? i think that's an actual option and so is g effect on the head to where your head position will move as you turn and so forth.

What you think of Jane's F-18 x20 for A-10C. Just depends though if you like flying slow, low, and getting ugly. The cockpit is fully functional and a fun challenge to learn. Even when you think you've got everything figured out another curve ball gets thrown at you! I recommend this game for anyone who's looking for a real simulator and especially loves the A-10. I hear though that the F/A-18C is in the works and that's what I'm waiting for now:pilotfly:
