Just decided to boot up and play again and have on average 15FPS what gives? I have everything on LOW even now and get this compared to high and on average around 60-80 FPS before. I7-3770K 3.5, GTX 670, 16GB ram I see that recommended specs have changed but really that much a difference? Yes all drivers are up to date.

If your controls are setup properly it is the trim then. You need to constantly change your trim as you increase and decrease airspeed. With takeoff you can expect a large nose up effect because of how fast your airspeed is increasing. Try using afterburner for take off but once your off pull back on the throttle and you shouldnt have to trim as much. But like i said eariler if your controls are set properly its trim you need to do. as much as I find it hard to believe that an aircraft requires so much work with the trim this is probably one of the few cases where you are constantly changing trim. Also, i've yet to run out of trim as some have said.

Is there any newer news then that? Can we "hope" for another update with the march newsletter?

Few concerns with DCS. Why does the Mig29 fly 1700kmh?
SuperSix2 replied to marchand73's topic in DCS: Flaming Cliffs
The SU-33 taxi's crazy because it has to. The nose gear swivles 90 degrees left or right because it's an carrier aircraft. -
It was delayed for 1 day.

Yup I had reported a problem earlier with Mission 3 about not being able to complete it due to controller not issuing the RTB order, however, after flying again and sticking with them just like beach had said stay with them and when they turn final you get the order to RTB! I say leave it in and don't get rid of just have that int he briefing or something if it isn't.

Interview with Leatherneck Studios
SuperSix2 replied to Count Sessine's topic in Heatblur Simulations
I'm still thinking it's a P-38 Lightning. We know he said to my post a few months ago when we were nearing release that he mentioned that to everyone else it's an L. He also has said that it may or not be a single or multi engine prop and that the USMC didn't use it. So I got my money on the lightning and I really hope it is because it's my favorite ww2 warbird. Just my 2 cents -
Not to burst your bubble but battleships have been decommissioned in the 90's. Still possible to see them be used with other time periods but not modern as in today.

DCS P-51D Landing Physics and Ground Handling
SuperSix2 replied to midnabreu's topic in DCS: P-51D Mustang
This thread is for 2 point landing dicussions. 3 point are helpful but you have more control over the aircraft in 2 point configuration. Biggest tip I've seen and what I do is always center the stick right before touchdown. Now right before I mean that first mm of tread is about to touch. Others have said slight stick fwd and that works great too! just remember slowest possible speed, slowest descent rate and right before touchdown either stick center or slightly fwd. -
Haha you do know that it is out? :)

P-51..... Pitch an roll configuring problems???
SuperSix2 replied to PAX19811031's topic in DCS: P-51D Mustang
Just remember which ever way you're yawing when nearing High-angle of attacks or stalling that you'll always stall in the direction of yaw. Another good tip is that if you find yourself in a stall if you go to 0 g the aircraft can't stall. -
@Esac, Cobra stated in the other topic that you would get your keys and if you had been expecting the physical hard copy that would come at a later time, however, you'd still get the digital key.

Awesome news!!!! Cannot wait for the 18th!!!!

the front/back seat capability wouldn't really matter for an F-15C. Now, an F-18D or F-15E.
-
Ha, I think you replied to them backwards, but good news anyway lol! :)

No gear doors either when equipped with the nuke, however, I think that's because of the weapon itself that if the gears doors were not removed you wouldn't be able to mount it?

Just aim for the 3rd wire, works like a charm every time!

You could always load the A-10C missions into the editor and swap out the C for the A model.
