On the memory-usage under Vista32 : I'm aware of that, but there's a couple of things that keep me from upgrading (listed in order of importance) : - she who must be obeyed : "A couple of hundred of euro's for what ?" (In contrary of what some people here may say : sex is still better than BlackShark :D) -going 64-bit means completely reinstalling all software -if it ain't broken, ..... -I'm too lazy Besides that, in my opinion it's the 512MB 8800GT videocard that is the bottleneck in this setup.

Well, I have to admit I'm running old NVidia drivers to be able to run Falcon 4.0AF and Freefalcon on my 8800GT under Vista. Something like 169.XX. I have gone to a dual-boot system recently and I'm running Falcon on XP now, so I should really update to the latest drivers. BS crashed on me last night. I was flying the "Clear Tsharkvelli" (spelling?) mission in singleplayer. I've copied over all the english specchfiles over to the russian folders, but I can't find an english version of the Almaz-folder. Any workaround for that ?

If you're running Win7 or Vista, please make sure that both TrackIr and BlackShark run in the same mode: if one program runs "as administrator" the other one should too.

I'd love to have DCSMax working again for the the quick launching of missions and the ease a choosing and switching skins when starting a single player mission.

I have the same issue. I can solve it by ALT-TABbing out of the game and then going back in. FPS are then back in the high 40's low 50's. DCSMax currently does not work as patch changed the exe-names for BlackShark.

Feels kinda strange being in an aircraft and not understand what Betty, your wingman, tower or AWACS says to you. Hardly realistic and seriously cuts down the chance to survive.

Vortex, try and Alt-tab out of the game and then go back in. On my favourit "Convoy Hunt"-mission I get low (11-17 ) fps but as soon as I Alt-tab out and get back in I'm in my usual mid 40's. The language thing bothers me a bit, as I can't understand the contacts my wingie is calling as I send him on recon. I don't understand when and if he's calling SAM launches, so I've got no idea where to look. I know the subtitles are in the top-left corner, but audible -warning works faster. Can I fix this by rebuilding this mission and assigning the Shark to an English speaking country ? Hell, I can't even understand the orders I'm giving myself !:smilewink: I do like the new sound.:thumbup: And I'm sure there's enough other stuff under the hood that I'll discover and appreciate later. Guys, I had a quick fly-around in the Hog last night after installing FC2.0 and noticed the airplane rolling left and the airplane has a very high rollrate even when I move the stick only a little. My questions : -is it supposed to be that agile ? Do I need to tune the axis for that ? -do I need to manually trim the A-10 to stop the rolling left ? Thanks

Hi, could anyone who runs FC2.0 on a Vista/W7-machine tell me if his bug has been fixed ? Alchemy only partially fixes this issue. If it is not fixed I'm considering installing FC 2.0 on my XP-install. ED : If however, it did get fixed, will there be a fix for BS too ? Thank you

Also, is the sound-bug (loud sound before entering cockpit) fixed in FC2.0? That would be a serious showstopper for me to install it on Vista, and I would have to go with XP.
