I strongly suggest that you instead keep the criticism constructive instead of lamenting how crap third parties are at their work. It's the only way we're able to identify edge case issues where they may appear, and that is very helpful to us.

Yes But it decays quite fast.

That's not caused by the gap, rather a sliver of the transparent "dirt" lining (probably due to a shader bug). I've tried to fix this to no avail so far.

And then the flight sim developer goes into bankruptcy because the cockpit textures took 4 years to make :D Snarkiness aside; it really isn't feasible to deliver even two cockpit texture sets at our quality level and current workflow unfortunately. We did just add support for custom cockpits though, so hopefully we can rely on the fantastic modding community somewhat on this! -
There's an sdef you can tweak in the Mods folder (I can't tell you the exact path right now). (something like JesterMenuNoise). You can lower the gain there. The tweak should pass IC.

This is a DCS bug. The flag that triggers when someone leaves the rear seat entirely (quits to desktop, not back to spectators) is bugged. ED is informed; hopefully a fix ASAP. This same issue happens if the RIO basically quits to desktop, alt-f4's, etc.

Locking distance is based on RCS IIRC. The manual table is based on a specific RCS.

We never ever dumb anything down. If anything was tweaked, it was only for increased realism per SME feedback or chart adjustments. :)

To contradict IronMike, this issue is tracked in another thread. The Right engine will not light after repair or re-start. Fix in progress.

Ball inertia is modeled. It's not an F-14 bug that placing the aircraft on a specific place where two concrete plates meet causes micro-shaking in the suspension sim. You can "eliminate" this bug by simply moving the aircraft to a different parking position. The source of this bug is in the way the bumpy tarmac is modeled and imperfect collision modeling. We can probably fix it by introducing a lowpass filter, but that's a workaround, not a fix. It's a low priority fix atm :)
