About the May Open Beta Update for MiG-21bis 2.5.4.xxxxx - 2019 May xx Fixed distance indication for gun in radar mode (distance must be equal or less than 2000m for indication) Improved inputs for ASP axis-based controls (rotaries) Improved ASP LAUNCH light logic when attacking radar-locked targets (airborne or ground based) Improved reticle size scaling. Fixed emergency jettison switches to being clickable. Fixed flaps reset switch going under control box when pushed. Fixed SOD mode knob rotation range. Fixed SPS launch button. Fixed white flood light knob rotation. Fixed air pressure gauge bezel's UVs Added liveries' description.lua custom arg command for bort numbers. I have recently bought this module and i am very happy indeed. However the above fix mentioned for the white flood light knob does not seem to be really fixed? it doesn't rotate when i adjust it in the cockpit? i am flying the Open Beta 2.5 is it really fixed? best regards,
  4. Yes I really would like to stop a train at a station and then attack it from above you know like in the GUN CAM clips from the real deal; We've all seen those clips and want to do that TRAIN DESTRUCTION thing for ourselves "over and over again" in an endless loop if possible? from our comfy chairs in our VR worlds that we've been able to create with DCS One thing is for sure DCS WWII has a wide open road ahead of it! It was after all A WORLD at WAR! One thing that is so cool about fighter planes with MACHINE GUNS is that its so up close and personal you've gota get right in their face and then let'em have it I can't imagine how cool it would be to TORPEDO BOMB a US WARSHIP in PEARL Harbor Man that would be a hoot and all the other scenarios from WWII OK from the info in this thread i've got some tweaking to do in my Meditor hope some more techniques will pop up soon
  5. German Bird Just want to say I just got this bird and I really love it already. I've had a few flights and I am building up my airbase slowly with available hardware and have been chasing a spitfire around lately, my takeoffs are OK now (no peddles) so I use assistance to compensate. Landings are sometimes Ok and sometimes I break stuff but it's really challenging and I have new admiration for the pilots of those planes. I've a read just a few books on the WWII aces and their short brilliant lives so it's pretty amazing to be able to have this experience with this sim. I'm Really looking forward to further developments for this map and any new WWII planes. I am definitely going to get the FW 190 that's a given and if a Mosquito comes out that also. I'am an old hand from way back and this sim keeps me coming back for more again and again
  6. 20 years I downloaded the update then the new map; took a few hours to get it all but I've been waiting 20 years for this so few hours wasn't too bad I set up a little KA-50 CAP out from Havadarya AB to Rajadi Port then to Qeshm Island and back to Havadarya AB. I flew on AP and had a look around FRAPS were same as my Caucasus map no difference there Scenery was good though a little sparce I was looking for a big Oil Refinery in there somewhere Also I thought we were going to get a new USA Carrier Group with this map? Is that only for the F18 module?
  7. changed controller to Belkin-n52te I've been flying BS2 for a short time now and at first I had problems with the shkval slew sticking and not moving where I wanted it to go. This was with the slew control mapped to a joystick hat switch (logitec extreme pro 3D). Yes that's right I was flying with two joysticks, I am not exactly Mr. big bucks. I changed my weapons control device from a joystick to an old Belkin-n52te and now my shkval slew control is as smooth as butter. The n52te has a polling rate selector for speed of 125hz to 1000hz. I have mine set at 125hz. I don't know if this polling really has any effect but since I changed my weapons control to the n52te it's been no problems with weapons control. It's my flying that's not up to spec at this time yo. I am really loving this shark and can't wait to create a battle for an oil refinery against some nasty western imperialists.
  8. Revert to 1.2.5 for 32bit systems i guess the obvious question is: Is there going to be any support for 32bit DCSW community? Havn't herd any answers from authoratative sources? it would be so nice eh? to get some support i bought the su-25a module SPECIFICLY because it would be easier on my 32bit system A few more buttons in the GAME OPTIONS allowing us to switch off the items that produce HEAVY MEMORY LOAD ie: WingTip Vorticies, Engine Smoke, Landing Smoke, etc. any answers from the Dev's would be appreciated by the 32bit DCSW community i wonder what the numbers for 32bit DCSW users are? money's tight these day's hardware upgrades are expensive the 32bit DCSW user base needs some support please!
  9. Su-25A & T sweet birds count me in too i love hitting rolling stock with cluster munitions it really sooths my nerves i would love to fly the new Mig comming soon also and someday this beauty...
  10. Maneuver flaps Su-25T GD, Maneuver flaps are just that, for maneuvering On the 25T they are needed for your dive into a target and your pullout after firing your missiles There is no speed limit on the maneuver flaps They will cause greater shaking in high speed but no perm damage The 25T is a heavily wingloaded aircraft and needs the maneuver flaps most of the time for better handling and precision turns and targeting you will find the auto pilot flies better with them extended also the only time i pull them in is when i want to save fuel on a long flight or when i want to pullout all the stops on speed ... other than that on the 25T i keep the maneuver flaps out especially in combat situations!
  11. got the Su-25A module over the weekend and it's great fun flying it and sharpening old rusty skills, i have DCS World, Su-25T and Su-25A all for 14.99usd ... pretty good value for my dollar eh? now if i live long enough i'll get to see DCS overtake MSFSX as THE premere flight sim once we get to fly in theaters all around the world and of course blow shit up in those theatres it's been a long road but it's really taking shape now! well done ED
  12. well done thnx scorpion! been wanting to turn off that damn DEP for a while now like you i found it could not be turned off for executables? WTF? i am one of your 32bit brothers, so much appreciation!
  13. Solution! I found that most of my 32bit puter memory crashes were due to .... wait for it ... Over Heating of the memory sticks! How did I fix it? Removed the side cover of my tower and blow air from the room aircon into the box with a fan Now my precious is working again and CTD's and BSD's are reduced too maybe once a day when I really push it in Large (many active units) missions Hope this helps anyone out there running 32bit machines Now off to download ver124! still 32bit compatable!
  14. and into your life a little sweetness ... banging away @ 120kbs
  15. Dear Dev's since DCS World ver123 came out all 32 bit systems get memory crash on a constant bases, on or off line. can we expect any fix or patch for win32bit systems or are we just SOL? part of the "i can't afford to upgrade at this moment crowd" i really have to laugh it when people use the euphemism "evolve" for spend money on a new system
  16. been flying the 25t and trying it online, Salvo mode with vkers still works good but>>>> we have no indicator that it's on or off now? a small matter for sure but .... mud flinggers .... well you know on the pos side, new airbrake sound in the toadie is coooool! My FR are up and I am flying a 32-bit Toadie Waiting on that Mig, and then I'll get FC3 and a 64-bit upgrade all in good time :pilotfly: acupple of more items: 1. I get booted off line usually after one SEAD sortie I land re-load and then try to take off and get booted? this is on the West Coast server: DRAGONS Operation_BigFoot my ping is usually big around 300 and like I said I am running Win7 32-bit error message from MS looks like this: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: DCS.exe Application Version: 1.2.3.9871 Application Timestamp: 512bc961 Fault Module Name: StackHash_0a9e Fault Module Version: 0.0.0.0 Fault Module Timestamp: 00000000 Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 00ffffff OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: 0a9e Additional Information 2: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789 Additional Information 3: 0a9e Additional Information 4: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789 I don't know the cause? 2. another thing is during on line play if I look at the map f-10, the symbol for my plane moves sideways like a sidewinder? I also don't know the cause of this?
  17. paypal scumbag middle man .... are not needed My experience with paypal is that they are scum bag, sleeze ball, middle man, rent seekers... they really are unnecessary and NOT NEEDED If you have a BANK account or BANK CREDIT CARD you sure as hell don't need paypal to help you buy anything, the fine print on the agreement you have to check to use paypal as a client or as a service provider gives ALL POWER to paypal and you have NOTHING to SAY at all; they will take your HARD EARNED CASH in a heart beat and tell you that you have committed questionable actions. and thats it, your money is gone and they will not give it back. BEST person to MANAGE YOUR MONEY IS YOU! not f..ing paypal corp's like paypal are whats wrong with the financial world today! just saying

  22. I am on win7 32bit_ I fly su25t on line ok with DCW. If the Mig21fishbed becomes available I'll buy it and try it on my present machine. I'll wait to build a 64 bit machine before I buy BS2.... which is a fond wish of mine A10 has no appeal for me, P51 would be fun with an enemy to dog fight?
  23. Mission Editor, In Mission I'll have to back up MadDog's complaints, on all points. It's a bummer for Ground Pounders and Mech's Hope we can fix it soon
