Considering the video in the previous post it's obvious to me that after one entered the DCS A-10C cockpit one would have to zoom out to achieve a more realistic FOV similar to what is shown in the RL cockpit video. We all know that the more you zoom out from the default cockpit view the greater the sense of speed becomes and closer it looks to the real deal. Unfortunately it would probably require a much larger monitor than most have to maintain this FOV and still be able to see the MFDs well enough to stay there during a mission. I am hoping that future VR hardware like the Rift will solve this.

Click the hoggitworld link in the next post for IADC's other missions now that they have been added to the Hoggit data base.

You missed Gridiron and Talon's Reach.....2 of the best. I tried to upload the links but it didn't seem to work.

Be sure that public is checked for DCS in your windows firewall.

It should go to SAVED GAMES/DCS/SCREENSHOTS folder -

If all 6 bin files as well as the exe file are contained within a single folder you should be able to install DCS by double clicking the exe file. You don't need to download all the files again from DCS World, just reinstall DCS from the files you already have then run a manual update from the start menu. -

If I were you and I still had no DCS folder in my saved games folder I would uninstall DCS World again but this time go to both Program files and Program files (x86) and delete the Eagle Dynamics folder(s) before re-installing DCS World. -

That's where it is supposed to be. -

Can you now see a DCS folder in your saved games folder? If so then follow my previous suggestions. -
[MOD] LZ Lights (HandPlaced)
Blooze replied to Lilkiki's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
This is a great mod and I can imagine how it could be used for many other purposes within a mission. Target designation as an example. Thanks! -

How about going to control panel/folder options and re-setting to default.? -

Try going to your saved games/DCS folder and renaming it DCS1. Fly a SP mission and then a MP mission. If that solves the problem then delete the new DCS folder, then the F15 folder in the DCS1/config folder and rename it back to DCS. Then try flying a SP and MP mission again. -
Hopefully you have downloaded all 6 bin files as well as the exe file for DCS World to a single folder. If so then click on the exe file to install DCS World. When DCS World has been installed you will have 2 icons on the desktop. Open DCS World with the white icon and then select module manager to install the A-10C.

Record AVI mutiplayer tracks wont unpause
Blooze replied to HOKUM52's topic in Screenshots and Videos
When using shadowplay you record your video from the MP mission track, not while actually flying the mission. Therefore it doesn't put a load on your hardware while flying the mission. Just be sure to turn it off when not in use or it will disable your Teamspeak and Track IR hotkeys while in a mission. -
Record AVI mutiplayer tracks wont unpause
Blooze replied to HOKUM52's topic in Screenshots and Videos
sorry I couldn't be of more help. I have never seen much value in the AVI tool myself. If you have a nvidia graphics card it should include shadowplay which works quite well for capturing video from tracks. You can start it and stop it at will and the videos will be stored in your my videos folder. Then you can use windows movie maker to make a finished product. Have you ever tried it? -
Record AVI mutiplayer tracks wont unpause
Blooze replied to HOKUM52's topic in Screenshots and Videos
I don't think it skips but rather has to play the track start to finish. Only way to tell is to wait until the clock reaches the time you selected. -

The track replay will begin at the time you actually entered the pit which is usually a few minutes after the mission actually starts. Try waiting longer after you first see the map view. -

Re-assign to the prt scrn key and problem solved. OK....move along folks, nothing to see here. -
You can only move your head back as far as possible while still being able to see the hud contents within the hud frame. There is no way to reduce the size of the hud contents as a whole. Reducing the text size does not solve the problem because all other HUD content will still be too large.
-
After you unpause the track, the time it takes to see yourself in the pit should be the same as the time it took to be in the pit after mission start when the track was recorded. Try waiting a bit longer after unpausing the track.

I uninstalled and reinstalled DCS on both machines and everything is back to normal now and working well. Boy, this stuff can sure get messed up over time and more often than not, I ain't gotta clue how it happens.

I meant MASTER and just correct the OP. My clock matches the time on my cellphone so it looks OK to me. Is there something about the clock that needs further attention?

OK..now it's my turn to whine. I have been using a server PC to host MP missions that is connected to a router with port forwarding set up correctly and everything has been working fine until yesterday. For no known reason, now I can connect to the master server but after a minute or so I get disconnected with the message CAN'T CONNECT TO MASTER. The same thing happened with a laptop that I was using as a server before the current machine. Everything worked fine for several months and then out of nowhere it would lose connection after a few minutes. Thinking my old router was failing I bought a new one today, set up port forwarding but the same thing is happening. I get connected but after a minute or so get dumped. Already tried DCS repair and renaming of saved games folder but no joy. I can host fine with my gaming rig (client machine) connected to the same router but not with these other PCs. Any of this sound familiar?
