  1. Click HERE for an awesome single player campaign.
  2. In my experience after learning the systems and procedures of the A-10C, learning to fly intelligently came only after many hours of in flight experience with coop multiplayer missions. After over 2 years with this sim I still continue to hone my skills and learn from my fellow pilots. It has been this never ending challenge to get better that has given me an ongoing enthusiasm that I can't seem to find in any other endeavor. I am hopelessly addicted and grateful for it.
  3. Well, now I will have to eat my own words. I just flew a test mission with no wind or loadout and it flew straight as an arrow. I stand corrected. Maybe the update actually made the effects of wind and/or weapons more realistic. I learn something every day with this sim.
  4. IMO you may want to consider offering your advice to the people that have been asking you these questions during your TAW training sessions rather than the community at large. They are the ones that may actually care about your opinions.
  5. Just trigger an explosion on the fire unit at mission start.
  6. I only fly the A-10C so I am acutely aware of any changes that occur with this plane alone. I don't remember which update it was but about 2 or 3 updates ago my hog began pulling to the right regardless of circumstances or wind variations. I too not only have to compensate with steering down the runway but also have to trim to the left when in the air. Although it's not a big deal and easy to compensate for I remain convinced that this was a bug introduced by one of the updates. There were others that noticed this about 6 months ago but it never was discussed much in a short lived thread. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.:music_whistling:
  7. reboot the PC and try again.
  8. I use VoiceAttack for all my radio commands as well as numerous other functions. It's cheap and easy to set up.
  9. With the Teamspeak window open go to settings/options/hotkeys and selecting keyboard and mouse only in the drop down menu, lower right portion of the window.
  10. I run a server on a laptop. I have 3d rendering "false" selected in the graphics lua file which means that there is no need for a graphics card to actually run (host)the mission. Because accessing the multiplayer functionality of DCS World requires Windows 64 bit OS, it seems to me that all you would need is that to host a mission, either locally or remotely using a program like Teamviewer.
  11. As stated before, be specific. What aircraft do you fly now that these questions may apply to?
  12. I doubt that it will happen in this forum but you could easily create your own forum using free forum programs that would provide exactly what you mentioned and then post a link to it here. You could include categories for different modules and time zones as well. Get 'er done!
  13. Both Save Badger and Jackal campaigns are just several missions grouped together in each download. Simply download the miz files and insert them into your Saved Games/DCS/Missions folder and they will be available when you host a multiplayer mission or be visible in single player mode by selecting MY MISSIONS Yes, the Enemy Within is a single player campaign but a damn good one so try it sometime
  14. Click HERE for a mini campaign called Jackal. These missions have only 2 A-10C slots.
  15. I'm glad ya'll enjoyed it and thanks for the comments.
  16. You can create and save a loadout in single player and it will then appear in the drop down loadout menu when flying a MP mission.
  17. Greetings all, I am looking for mature and experienced A-10C pilots that are interested in flying multiplayer coop missions designed for between 4 and 8 pilots and would be available on a regular basis for the following flight schedule. 3 and/or 8 PM CST daily depending on the number of pilots available. Teamspeak is required for comms. Thanks Update: Due to a lack of interest I am scrapping this project yet again. Many thanks to the few that did respond and I will probably try again when DCS2 is finally released. Cheers
  18. headed straight for the target every time with LSS button pressed and scanning. I'll get it sorted out eventually.:book:
  19. I have tried with my mission and yours, I activate laser search, JTAC says laser on but no joy. I am missing something but I haven't been able to figure out what. What pages in the manual should I read to learn the step by step process?
  20. Let me be very specific with the following, If 2 A10s are flying together one can lase a target that they have locked on their TGP and the other can activate Laser search mode and acquire a lock on the same target. Sabre have you been successful in accomplishing the same thing with an AI JTAC vehicle? Can you lock on to a lased target in your TGP using the laser search only?
  21. Bill you had better check the forum rules. From your description it seems like you may need to add the following message with your video. Video contains content that might not be suitable for all users!
  22. There are many that would enjoy flying coop multiplayer missions with like minded folks but just can't seem to work up the courage to take that first step.
  23. Yes, I see that now when I move the vehicle out of range and it's good to know that bulidings may obstruct view without any warning. Thanks for the info Druid. I sure would like to get this working.
  24. Just where would one see this orange colored warning you mentioned?
