Mustang, Although I enjoy your terrain mod very much from the cockpit unfortunately it makes it very difficult to see targets with the A-10C TGP so I have been forced to go back to default for that reason. Is there an easy way to reduce the intensity of the contrast (noise?) by about 50% so I can have my cake and eat it too?

The original Nevada map from 2010 had the colors about right. Here's a screen to show it plus a RL aerial photo. I am hoping it gets corrected before release. If not, I'm sure some modders will tweak it soon enough.

Click HERE for a program that makes it easy to enable and disable mods. Take your time and follow the instructions carefully. Many of these mods are already packaged in the JSGME folders for easy installation.

For those that may not be aware, it has been advised in the past to bring a downloaded mission into the mission editor and re-save it before use. In theory this assures compatibility with the latest DCS World build. Joyride's missions seem to have survived the ravages of all of the past updates.

I have more from this guy and they are all top notch missions....... but not for the faint of heart. I think it's a damn shame that some have labored long and hard to create these missions for the community and yet received so little credit.

It occurred to me today that although I have been around this sim for quite a while and have flown some of the best user created A-10C MP missions available there may be many A-10C enthusiasts that are unaware of some of these missions. By far some of the best have been created by a veteran Hawg driver named Joyride (alias deephouse). Go to your saved games DCS config folder and delete the view folder. That will return everything back to default.

In my experience there are 2 things to do first if any issues come up. 1. Disable mods and do a DCS repair. If that doesn't fix things then, 2. Go to your saved games folder and rename DCS to DCS1. Start a mission and see if that fixes things. If you are only having this issue in MP then try a MP mission for testing. If that solves the problem then you can copy and paste your view,options and keyboard files from the DCS1 folder into the new DCS folder if needed.

This is not a bug or issue with your setup but just happens when a mission loads with the default skins. If you want to prevent this in the future just bring any mission into the mission editor and select the paint scheme of your choice using the drop down menu at the bottom of the loadout page and resave the mission.

I have tried that as well but always ended up with only half of a stretched out image. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Most excellent mod and seems quite appropriate for any mission using the Georgia map. Thanks for your contribution.

Question, will this mod update weather in real time as a mission progresses or will the weather become static after the mission has begun and remain the same throughout the mission and constant with the entire Georgian map?

It seems to be working for Kutaisi and Batumi but when I try to use it for missions starting at Kobuleti nothing happens so maybe it's just a bug with that airfield. Thanks for offering this and I'll be looking forward to using it considering it does not use dynamic weather which has been a real frame rate killer for me in the past. By the way, I'll be checking HERE to see how well it works. :music_whistling:

I installed this mod using JSGME, selected Kobuleti and hit the load button. I got the first window asking if I wanted to download the weather and clicked OK but nothing happened after that. any suggestions? How long should I expect to wait living in the USA?

Using the Record AVI option in the ME I have not been able to produce a working AVI video from a track that will play in Windows media player or movie maker. Can anyone tell me how to do it or offer any advice?

I have been involved in beta testing some of Baltic Dragon's new adventures and can assure everyone that he still has a few tricks up his sleeve that will raise the bar for mission design for both SP and MP missions.
