He's wrong about some things and right about others. The way i see it. In air to air: the f35 Is clearly inferior to both the f22 and Pak fa project plane. Max speed mach 1.6 is a joke.Can't turn nearly as good as the above 2 planes. MIght have ultra modern technology on it.But so does the f22 .And the f22 is an infinitely better plane. So what is it? a ground attack plane ? But one with 2 internal weapons only.Because if you put any external weapons on it it's not nearly as stealthy . So what can you destroy with 2 internal bombs or missiles ? 2 targets and then go to rearm. So what is the advantage of the F35 ? price ? performance ? With the f22 you have great performance at a high price. It's logical.It;s progress. Withe the F 35 you just have a big price to pay. It would have been more logical to build a stealth plane just for ground attack with a big internal weapons bay.A plane with incredible resiliance, with great sistems and pilot protection and structure toughness like the a10 for example. And a plane just for air to air like the f22.

Just tried this in il2 1946 4.12. Maximum dive speed b4 structure failure : D9- aprox 990 TAS. P-51- aprox 970 TAS. P-47 -aprox 1010 TAS. 109k4 -aprox 950 TAS. I only done one test . For more precision you would need a few tests to calculate an average.

@GGTharos Narushima was kind enough to take the time and graph.And it gives us an idea about WW2 aircraft performance. What are you doing ? Do your own graph so maybe a little of your perfection rubs on us mortals.

I think the results in your chart are for high speed propeller. Western Front 109s used propellers optimized for speed. Eastern Front 109s received propellers optimized for climb/acceleration . Forgot about this :) .

Stukas were used until very late in the war if not until the end of the war on the east front. I know about a stuka atack from 1944 on the west front but that was a singular event and not that successful .

Shouldn't the 109 k4 outclimb the spit mk 9 and the fw 109 d9? I always known that k4 outclimbs spit 9 and spit mk14 outclimbs 109 k4. Might be wrong .

Luthier should not be blamed ! Without him there would be no 109 , no spitfire , no ww2 map etc. He had the courage to take a risk.And i respect him for it.

It's not the damage model .It's the visual damage model that needs improvement.

Honestly i give my thanks to the creators of clod because without them i wold not have the great version of clod i play today. Something that's not such a great thing at start can change and evolve. If they created nothing we would still have nothing. Even if DCS WWII: Europe 1944 is not a "perfect" simulation at first, it can get perfect in time.

I really wish we had a flyable Mig-15 to fight against in MP or vice versa. But there is no evidence of a Mig-15 work in progress other than that mention in an old Wags interview. It's more than likely just an AI mig. I really wish i'm wrong .

I pre purchased another ww2 sim and the updates on friday were like clockwork. If not pics than a few lines of text.And there was a thread where we can post questions to the devs. If i look at the number of fw 190 development pics and updates(wich are very very few) than i think DCS WWII: Europe 1944 should still be on the right track. Or ? The truth is out there .....

Are you all like second grade or something ? It's like a batman vs superman discussion .You see on paper superman(f22) is better but in real life batman(su-35) will defeat superman with lightning bolts from his eyes and thunder from his ....6 :) . It depends on so much variables. where the battle takes place .Who has superior numbers. Are there radars that see stealth aircraft ? and many other things. This discussion is pointless.

Yes but for example the mi-24 is being developed by Belsimtek afaik. I don't want a release date or pics but i guess i wanted to know if the mig-15 is still in the works or has been canceled like the su-27sm .
