All this talk about fidelity reminded me of what i want most to be aded to DCSW wich is realistic jammers, electronic warfare.I know this is probably top secret or something and very hard to implement. But a missile fight without realistic jammers is unrealistic imho.

My favourites are: Dresden 2006. A german movie. The part with the bombing is very realisticly created in the film, very sad. The romance part is gibberish imho. Das boot. 1981. We were soldiers. 2002

I like to play the su27 usually.But the 27er is totally useless in game.I don't belive the russians use such useless missiles in real life. not that i have any problem killing F15s.

This makes me want EDGE really bad.

I want the DCS version. F15E in FSX in pointless for me.Too bad for the work developers put into it.

ez-42 sight had many reliability problems and the me 262 pilots used it in fixed mode(just like a REVI-16B) rather than gyro.So for realism we can do the same.

The best joystick i can recomand is microsoft sidewinder ffb.Online vs someone that uses the sidewinder i had to cut his curves and shoot at 90 degrees because there was no way i cound turn with him. I use a thrustmaster t flight stick x.Is a good joystick for the cheap price but not very precise.I belive it's less precise then t16000 but don't know for sure.

I also like the A model beter than D. Btw does somebody know when DCS fw190d beta is to be released ?

@Echo225 I find childish the good guy ,bad guy stuf. While the Nazi leaders were pure evil and i would like them burned to the stake.And had idiotic world domination plans. The american, british forces that fire bombed Dresden for example(at least tens of thousands burned alive ,mostly women and children because the men were on the front) are bad guys ? No i see them as grey because i for example would not follow such an order. but the amecican and british leaders that orderd it are just as evil as nazi ones. Also i don't blame the bomber crues that bombed hiroshima & nagasaki but i blame Harry S. Truman. And a pilot that protects bombers that burn cityes is a good guy ? What about axis pilot that shoots down bombers , that bomb cityes ? I don't know what to say.It's very complicated.It's a moral ambiguity. I i don't understand why people trash il2 1946 or CLOD so much.I started playing 1946 online this spring after a 6 year brake.And played seriously for about a month. And then tried DCS p51 and could land , kick the AI's ass without braking a sweat.The first 2-3 times i took off i crashed because i didn't know about the ruder locking deal and pushed the stick forward :) .Online i flew for a very limited time but only one of three guys barely beat me (Conquer). I like to fly the DCS p51 a little more because you have to be very precise especialy in a dogfight.But you can only dogfight DCS p51 vs p51 for now and that is it. Today il2 1946 has full scale aerial battles with realistic goals and such, realistic tactics (energy fighter vs maneuvering fighter, thach weave and so on ). And even if RRG Studios does a less then stelar job which i don't belive, we will still have a complete ww2 sim rather then one plane at the moment.

P38l 0.16 hp/lb vs 109g 0.21 hp/lb Power to mass ratio favors the 109 g could't find credible data on drag for 109 that could be compared to p38. "Wings also generate drag. As does the fuselage and control surfaces. Induced drag is often the largest source of drag on an aircraft, especially when maneuvering Ignoring drag and trying to say something about maneuverability does not make sense" So if i igore drag and say for example that the f104 is not as maneuverable than an f15 because of wing loading than this conclision does not make sense to you?

And about Fowler flaps. H.J.Marsaille wrote that he used flaps to be able to turn inside of Hurricane and P40s with his 109. And the Hawker Huricane had a lower wing loading than a spitefire 29.8 lb/ft² (121.9 kg/m²).So the p38 with flaps turns slower than P51 or 109 that use flaps. G-forces are a little exagerated in my opinion.A profesional pilot can sustain 9g for at least a couple of seconds + in a dogfight the adrenaline would be a big help. I heard of an f15 pilot in the first golf war that pulled 12g for a few seconds without his vision going black one bit.
