Well, we really don't know if there is system with fake launching or not. It is technically and especially tactically feasible. Now, that would be something! :lol:

+1 Military tactics as old as the war itself. Works especially well with some sort of an ambush as a real attack. So I think, Kuky has a point - confusion of your enemy is great stuff! Trying to evade something which is non-existent certainly ads to the confusion and the fear factor. ;)

"Very careful" doesn't mean impossible! ;) OTH, we won't see 4+ , 4++, 5th generation aircraft any time soon, no matter Red or Blue, democracy/"non-democracy" or whatever. Simply, too many classified stuff on those birds for DCS standard of modelling ... MiG 29S is realistic proposition in this regard, and MiG 29A would be probably easier legal wise. Bring it on! We are not picky :)

umland, He's telling you the truth. There are two flight models currently. SFM (Simple Flight Model) and AFM (Advanced Flight Model) All aircraft in FC3 at the moment are SFM (A-10A will get AFM in next upgrade, though). It is legacy flight model from Lock-On franchise. SFM has severe limitation, and ED is slowly upgrading towards AFM. FC3 will be probably their last product with simple flight model. Now, A-10c has a full blown, AFM and behaves ultra realistically. The other three aircraft in DCSW which are blessed by AFM are KA-50, SU-25T and P-51D. After the imminent FC3 patch, A-10A will join this exclusive club. So, there is nothing that ED could do regarding this issue, other than doing AFM for every single plane in FC3, which is impossible in near future due the enormous amount of time necessary for developing correct Advanced Flight Model. That makes sense GG, however lack of 3rd party activities regarding any version of MiG-29 tells me that there is probably something going on behind the scenes. MiG29 is iconic plane, arguably much more than SU27, so it is really strange that nobody announced MiG29 module (apart from the one project which was promptly cancelled). Anyway, we can only guess and dream ... :)

That's great news - market would be probably all yours for Russian gauges. :thumbup: With MiG21bis around the corner a lot of us would consider cockpit with mechanical gauges, if the price is reasonable. Keep up the good work!

I wrote that Nazis came to power in one of the most developed country in the continental Europe and World at the time. It was not some 3rd World country in the Balkans, Africa or Asia. That's a historical fact. Are yo aware that Nazis had the most developed society at the time - culturally, economically, scientifically, industrially ... the best "environment" possible And sadistic,cold and calculated violence still happened. Think about it! ;) As far as godwinning go - I don't get it. Why the other atrocities in human history are somehow regarded as more politically correct to write about online? In a thread which has a violence and its implication on society as a main topic, sooner or later you'll get references to Nazi regime. Why? Because it's one of the better examples of humans misbehaving on a large scale. It's a perfect example what are we capable off in a negative way. Hmmmm :hmm: .... It's way OT, but the best anti-war, pro-humanity works of art and literature were made by people who were severely prosecuted in totalitarian regimes and made it through. No it's not cultural thing, it's competition thing and every possible society from Cro Magnons onward used violence. Check your History books. Tribal fairy tale is possible in remote places where there are no other tribes around. Read the history of the animosities between first Nations in America and methods they used in war, for example (no I'm not American, and I'm not the biggest fan of modern pop-culture either) Again, read the history. Hellenic and Roman in this regard. Sparta, etc ... nothing new in WWI really ... Now we are talking cultural thing. IMHO (according to my cultural beliefs), I think that victims of the atrocities performed by terrorists have full right to celebrate the death of the mastermind behind it. Me too. However, that is our bright side. There is the dark side too. No, denying the fact is just a recipe to let the history repeat itself. We have laws and punishment/rehabilitation for those members of society who couldn't control their urges. This is so true, and we tend to very easily forget about that. :thumbup: That's the reason why violent entertainment is selling so well and make masses happy - Romans patented it, and modern game industry took it to every corner of the Earth - "Panem et Circenses " - Bread and Games. So yes, in general, we are happy: 1) when our bellies are full 2) when sexually satisfied 3) when entertained with violent content. :lol:
