  1. latest build is triggering antivirus as infection IDP.SMPQ.4

This worked for only a few minutes for me which is really strange.When it worked it was as advertised...then it started to do weird things.When looking forward the screens would disappear...if I looked to the side they would reappear,but were only blank black screens.I use TRAK IR btw. latest ultra MFCD version on 1.56.
  3. DCS has stopped responding messages...getting alot of these since the new patch lately.Most recent one was upon landing on the carrier in Su-33 campaign.Getting to be a real pain in the ass.:mad: log uploaded dcs.rar

I have weird Cockpit glitches after recent patch in Su-27 and Su-33...see attachments.No compass(top right of canopy frame) in the Su-27 and weird block like splotches on Su-33 dash.Also I think glare on the Su's gauges is a little too over done,you can't read the numbers in some circumstances(I would have thought they were made with anti-glare glass coating..but I really have no idea if that's the case.) But in any case ...we don't have the situation were we can adjust for glare like we do in real life,so I feel it should be toned down.
  5. Yes this is a big problem...gunsight wiggs out while using track-ir....which Im pretty sure a lot of people use.
  6. fixed this problem by doing a repair...some how the new cockpit/external model wasn't showing for me.
  7. What exactly does this mean regarding Combined Arms?? "The DCS: World War II Assets Pack will continue to grow with DCS: Combined Arms compatibility and free asset additions." Does it mean that if we own Combined Arms we get the WWII assets pack for free? Its a pretty ambiguous statement at the very least.
  8. the A moel is what i meant...didn't save my edited post.the eos (hump) is different between the two.
  9. If you compare the mig29A to the S model you will see the eos in the hud are different...wasn't this supposed to be upgraded in the new mig29S model??? The A model has smooth edges but the S model is jagged... OR is it we're simply not seeing the model update ?(instant action mission is what I'm flying)
  10. Been awhile since i flew this game but didn't we used to have autopilot lights? I see no green lights on the auto panel when switching into different modes?(mig-26S in quickstart was where I noticed this)
  11. I want this for my dog as he keeps getting hair and slobber in my HOTAS,and scratches up my throttle with his nails.He really needs his own set-up and leave mine alone.Stupid dog...But he is a good dogfighter...for a dog.

Logs uploaded.I deleted all old logs and relaunched the mission...same problem occurred so it should be there in the log (I hope) I also noticed some errors in the newly created log and would like an explanation as to what those are about as well.They mostly suggest texture loading errors but there are a couple others as well.Also I'm not running sweetfx or reshade.   13. Why is the game exiting to taskbar when loading missions? When loading the ultimate argument campaign,the taskbar pops up when loading then exits when mission starts...Should it be dong this??...if so why??

My settings are medium to high,and yes I get the occasional stutter but its only when switching from one view to another.But this isn't the problem I'm concerned about...its the inability to find radar targets in the HUD where I had no problem before.They are simply not showing up until well under where they used to be.The really wierd thing is I can find targets in EOS FURTHER OUT than It used to be or so it seems.But I only discovered this last night and on a modded aircraft (Su-30sm mod) I was able to lock a headon aspest fighter at 90 km in EOS. That surprised me.Will do more testing and maybe get a trk file loaded. Question...what effect does trying to locate an enemy fighter AT SAME ALTITUDE have??? Should it be harder or easier?? And about when should I expect a contact distance wise to become visible on radar(in my hud on a russian bird)? This might be the problem.(doesn't explain why I had no trouble before 1.5.5 though)
  15. vertical scanning as in manually adjusting the radar in the vertical in bvr mode.As for airframe I mostly fly the russian birds,but I've had the same problem in the f-15 as well.

Since 1.5.5 I'm having difficulty finding targets on radar where I didn't have any trouble before,and I have no idea why.I'm not seeing them until around 10-12 miles when they're practically on top of me.I'm scanning vertically,setting expected range,switching rpf but still not getting contacts where I normally would before the patch 1.5.5.Has anyone else noticed this?? :cry:

I see there is a flaps up/down key(which toggles the position)...there's a flaps up key (which takes the flaps all the way up...and there's a flaps landing position key(which takes them all the way down.So how do you put them to takeoff position???We used to be ale to press a key that takes them to the halfway point(take off) and when pressed again took them to the up position but not anymore.What happened?

  22. Yup that the same issue I have in the mig.This happens when I'm on the runway as well.Last time I flew multiplayer this happened (about a month ago)ANNOYING AS HELL!!!
  23. huh???are you sure about this?...btw this issue doesn't happen in instant action...so what makes the difference?
