could you elaborate on this beeping plane thing??...I think I have the same problem but in a mig.

Why does the windows task bar pop up when dcs is running?? If I exit the 3d world to the UI,the taskbar is showing at the bottom of my screen.Also at one point the mission editor also was active it seems although I never went into it.All I did was exit the campaign to the after action area.whats goin on?:huh:

Fired an R-73 in close combat mode, switched to another target(2 targets were in close formation) and locked onto my own missile.Should I be able to do this??It never happened before.This happens in both the mig and su.

Maybe should be noted that when I say "load" I don't mean install...I mean load game from desktop to server UI to pick missions....that took 15 minutes

The rocketpods are not connected to pylons in the 3d view...looks like there's an air gap where connectors should be.Maybe the pods are out of place on the model?

I concur...something is going on that makes loading take waaayyy to long.I gotta wonder if its not a case of DCS getting too bloated.For me alot of the time it switches back and forth between interfaces....black screen....splash screen.....mission load...then back to a splash screen.Then it will cycle that way at random times.I loaded it on a laptop today to serve as a dedicated mission server(stock no modules added)...took 15 minutes to load on a quadcore with 6 gig ram.

Stuttering is pretty bad in latest update ,never had an issue with it before (except in 2.0 which is why I switched back to 1.5) makes the game unplayable in a dogfight :mad: what happened???

60 plus FPS here at 512 cockpit res ...turn on camera to search for targets and it drops to 20.Seems this happens almost after every update we get in BS ,why can't they just assume it will happen and fix it before it goes out the door???? edit...after a reboot this seemed to fix the issue...could be that changes aren't taking place in settings until the game is closed then reopened?

Stuck in F10 map view in multiplayer...tried to ESP,F1 and even ctrl alt delete...could not get out of this view.The map view behaved as normal ie i could click on things like "me" or scroll around and change map view to sat view etc.My icon was even moving,but it would not release me to the 3d world.

My meaning is specific too controls not flight models.

Having more FC3 level planes is a great idea...for those like me that fly multiple aircraft...having to remember all those controls is a pain,I don't have the problem switching from FC3 aircraft to FC3 aircraft as all my controls are practically the same. example...f-15 su25,33,27,mig29,a10...no problem.Try to fly an a10c after not flying a month or 2, then the mig21,mi8,blackshark,huey...forget it. IMO all HIGH fidelity DCS modules should have FC3 counterparts to allow for the issue of having to remember all the different controls.Shouldn't be a problem to "tone" them down to FC3 levels.

while in the gunner view if I zoom looking at a building it disappears (at about a 1000 meters) also when switching from external view to gunner view sometimes it slews the turrent to the rear for no reason.

yup same thing here...#1 takes off #3 rams into #2 at runway apron while #2 is waiting for #1 to get airborne.Totally messes up the entire mission as NO enemy accept for 1, get off the ground.Total show stopper.

Not to mention when you finally do complete the transaction, it doesn't reflect the proper sale price in the invoice at the checkout screen.

Yup I am...its a different set up from 1.26, its all automatic itseems ...but I didn't now that till I went in to check it.Is the change of activation mentioned anywhere??

had that installed....but...if you change settings after installing that fix,does it cancel it out even if you return to high settings???Do those files get overwritten?
