I'm not wanting to know how to start it...I want to know WHY the auto start is missing in the control setup and why it doesn't work when pressing the default commands that are in the other modules. Its not an issue of learning it... its an issue of remembering it due to owning multiple modules. And I've yet to get an answer to a simple question.

In regards to this video...what are we looking at here? Is it a newest bestest expensive graphics card or is it a sneak peek at a new graphs engine? Or both? I ask this because my system looks nothing like this even at full settings. I'm using AMD RADEON RX 560 4gb card. This video looks simply gorgeous...mine looks ok...but thls looks sooo much better and I'd really like to know why.

The mission it does it for me is single mission "F-16C - Caucasus - Coiled Viper"

TRY this delete the fxo and metashaders2 files(saved games folder)...then defrag the entire DCS installation folder.

No...not the same thing,...or is it??? Look at time stamp 4:00 on video....were talking about the skhval auto slewing onto an already saved target on the datalink when uncaging.In the video it slews right to the target...mine is waaay off when I do it.The target is not from me,its from a wingman,so the range data should already be there.This is on the instant action mission "insurgents" on Caucasus map BTW.

Could be ,but I did try it at multiple altitudes...does it work for you??

I'm not talking about locking a target...I'm talking about tracking too a target via data link\ingress point...look at the video at 4:00...it will "snap" to target point.

I THINK , the shkval is not working properly.It won't track to target when pressing datalink to egress on a designated target. Its waaay off the mark. Is it not supposed to anymore or is it broke? I'm refering to this feature...4:00 on time scale in this video

Ah ok...makes sense,so its just a default brightness issue then.

The latest patch totally negates my original post.I can no longer stay above the 25 fps threshold at the same settings.

They broke something...you shouldn't get any info on the shkval if its not turned on.(EDIT or should you? )NOW In instant action, its really bright and you can see numbers changing on the screen.I shouldn't see anything as I haven't turned it on.Its not like the previous mission where the tv camera was off. Something has changed...but I'm not sure its a bug or they changed it to reflect reality?? I don't recall any changes in the change log?
