  1. and, yes, your skin request has been copied :)
  2. First, I go the realistic way :). If you can provide me with the functionality of the minigun, I'll give that a go.
  3. Update: 15.02.2014 Some Screenies of the Roof Console and the Collective. Less time in the moment. Exterior model is unwrapped and ready for skinning. I'll use this post to collect your wishes, concerning the skins you like. Thanx again for your patience :)
  4. The reason why, is caused by the planing and and projection of an aircraft. The helicopter manufacturer doesn't develope any gauges but help themselfs by existing offers from other companies. The reason are the costs for testing and approval. It's better to come back to existing, approved and tested gauges then developing new ones. It also doesn't make sense to rotate the Scale, thats because the whole pointermechanic have to be rotated also. Result: additional approval/additional costs. Hope that helped :)
  5. Not in the moment. All I've done is completing the Overhead Panel. News follows ...
  6. reason is very simple. The rotation of the gauges is for the pilot making him easier to read the gauges when he face an extraordinary situation. So when everything works fine, all needles point in the same direction. This will give the pilot a homogeneous appearence when he looks at the gauges. Since the gauges are from different manufactures the green areas are in different locations. Occasionally, they rotated the gauges so that all the green areas are in the same direction.
  7. Weapon simulation will be implemented.
  8. The PAH have a more powerful engine and in the PAH Rear Cabine are all the weapon computers located.
  9. Last picture before she will get her skin :) I know she actually should have her skin but I only have time in the evening to cradle her;)
  10. I really would like to, but I've no information on how that gun, rocket and targeting stuff work. The cockpit also looks different. So please give me time to finish the basic stuff. Once the Bo-105 come out I gonna cross your bridges before you come to them
  11. Tiny update The finished Ventilation-Control-Panel.
  12. This one will be included as well but I first want to bring out the Anti-Tank version.
  13. Merry Christmas from germany.
  14. Merry Christmas to you, too :santa:
  15. that's the german way and It's comparable with a german phrase which says: "bureacracy is making simple definitions difficult"
  16. A specific frequency is expressed in Hertz. Means, the number of full electro magnetic wave cycles per second. If you speak about (Example) a VHF frequency of 122.1 MHz, then you can even say 122 100 000 Hz or 122 100 000 Cycles, which is 122.1 Mega Cycles.
  17. Uh -forgot to correct it on the second box :music_whistling:
  18. Centerpanel update. Centerpanel is finished and features the UHF-Panel. On a closer look I recognize that I missed modeling the Ventilation panel. Besides, the floortexture have to be adjusted . Shame on me.
  19. thanx :) I just want to bring the helicopter to a "default state" Once the whole helicopter is finished, I will upgrade the devices to a more modern state. That state will feature the SEM-91 (VHF/FM), XT-3010/01 (UHF/AM) and a more modern version of the Doppler. Basically I would like to have a menu where you can choose your configuration. And, by the way, I'm not a friend of modern devices. That's because of the more technology a device/plane/helicopter have, the more the possibillity increases of failing (in real life):smilewink: Best example is the Tiger/Eurofighter/NH90 :D
  20. Thanx, Cobra :)
  21. The doppler navigation system AN/ASN-128 is a complete autark navigation system. It does not need any ground station. position and ground speed is calculated by the comparing two radar reflection frequency generated by several on board directional antennas. Since one pair of antennas are directed forward and a second pair backwards, the received reflections differ slightly in frequency, because the helicopter moves towards the forward reflection point and away from the backward reflection point. The effect is comparable with the situation of a train passing by. If the train moves towards the listener, he hears the sound on a higher frequency. If it is passed by, the sound is on a lower frequency. The frequency delta is the base for speed and direction calculations. Based on the initial home location, the current position can be calculated by continuous incremented speed vectors. In former times, the precision was very poor. It needed periodic manual corrections by the operator. The state of the art doppler systems are very precise because the newer hardware works on higher clock cycles and is more sensitive. Even the use of laser gyros enhanced the system precision. There are still some restrictions to be maintained to avoid signal misinterpretation. These are turns with more than 45° bank or pitch higher than 30°. It displays: - your present Position to your destination in longitude and latitude and/or transversal mercator coordinates - Groundspeed in km/h or knots - Steercourse over ground in degrees - Sphäroidcode to Destination (Entered via Keyboard) - flightpath deviation to Destinaton (Entered via Keyboard)......
  22. Uh - thanks, Flagrum...I was typing too fast ;). "Can you tell us what type of NAV system that is? So we can start googling for infos and manuals ... :o)" Do you mean the Doppler ?
  23. Christmas Update 20.12.2013 Centerpanel nearing completion. Just the "UHF" left. Screenshots featuring the IFF (STR-2000), VHF/FM and the Doppler-Panel. Sorry for the creeping state of work but I have only time in the evening :juggle: Aries Wings Consulting an me had a discussion on how to solve the IFF-Code stuff for 100% usage of the IFF-Transponser. An Idea was to develope an IFF-Code Generator for RED and Blue. In the holidays I decided to start texturing the exterior model...screens will follow :pilotfly: I wish you all a merry christmas and a happy new year :holiday:
  24. Cockpit looks good .
