  1. OOOpps - vielen Dank . Da hätt ich wohl meine Glupschäuglein besser aufmachen sollen
:book: Muß ich vorher irgendwo - "make cool" drücken ? Gruß Olli
  3. ... and, for modern aircrafts, you need the clearance of the department of defence and/or Nato or a contract with the developer army/airforce. otherwise you will go into jail for bringing out sensitive data to the public.
  4. Hi Supersheep, thanks for the link . I would like to simulate the TOW, but due to the lack of information on how it works for the BO-105, the possibilty of only simulating HOT /HOT 2 is given.
  5. For me: - more realistic explosions - Clickable Cockpits for all aircrafts
  6. OK - problem solved. I've accidently added too much invisibility tracks and linked the wrong objects to the Invisibility-dummy  After all thanks :)
  7. There are objects which haven't materials assigned. The export did work before. The strange thing is that even some objects with assigned material doesn't export.
  8. everything is selected and not frozen
  9. Hi Guys, my problem: everytime I hit the export button of the EDM-Tools in 3ds max, only a few objects will be exported. No error message, nothing. I even downloaded the latest edm-plugins. I made every thing "cool" Does anyone had the same issue recently ? Thanx in advance Olli

  11. Headspace, that wasn't my intension to go over your product. I like it and I still use it....My deepest sorry for making this misunderstandable. For me, I'm a perfectionist :) and that's why I argued that way, but this doesn't have something to do that I don't like TARS... After all, sorry ;)
  12. As I said...it's my personal opinion..I was using TARS for almost 1 year and it's good. Since Aries radio came out I like to use Aries Radio because it's more realistic ;). I wrote that post before, because almost erveryone's complaining that the flight model doesn't fit to the orginal or remember the mast tilt thread of the UH-1H :). Now there is a realistic voice system and people complain again...everyone have a different understanding on how he want to fly. Mine is different, your's different...:). We should stop here, because this dissussion doesn't have anything to do with this thread ;)
  13. dispite of it's overlay and "funcionality"... it is more realistic :) In my personal opinion. And that's just mine. One should respect the work headspace and Towsim did. One like to hear a clear voice to feel more like Tom Cruise in Topgun and the others want to go the realistic way. Towsim worked as a tower controller on a military base for about 30 years. For me, I may be too old - if someone like to hear a clear voice, one should play egoshooters in multiplayer:smartass:...not meant rude
  14. thanx, Andi ! I belive that STICKY thing is up to the Admins.
  15. Thanx

  19. yes  I had that yesterday...
  20. Dear DCS fans , Since I sweeped through the complete forum, the amount of people, which cannot wait to have a module released is rising and rising. I don't know if you ever started to create a module for DCS but those who do, will agree with me that this is not a walk in the sunshine. That what you see in DCS is the result of years of work. You don't see the background what it makes the module look: realistic, good looking and fun to fly. I don't wanna sound rude :) but the reason why I wrote this post, is for those "I wanna have it NOW" people. I urge you to consider that we have the load of work, NOT you. Like I wrote above - It takes time to satisfy all expectations for all of you and of course satisfy the conception of DCS -> you have to show balls A modul is not done in a year or two and additionally when you have to find out how different things work in DCS. The newer the aircraft is, the difficult is it to get a clearance to make it close to 100 % realistic. That's why you may see the older one's in DCS. Additionally, most of the developers have a job so they are doing there MOD in the sparetime and/or after work. So if you don't agree with me, try to: - collect data which are necessary for a module - model the Exterior-Model with all details and always have a limited amount of triangle in the neck - model the Cockpit-model with all details - check the performance, so that it runs without stuttering on lower end PC's - unwrapping all objects and creating the textures. (one texture may have up to 30 layers in photoshop to look realistic) - adusting the textures so that, the closer an object to the pilot is, the more detail it must have - Model all four LOD's - creating the damage model/damage textures - creating the destroyed model - creating specular -and normal maps - animate everything - baking AO's and ckeck back in the game if it don't look "too" unreal - check how the lighting influences the look of the textures (night and day) in the game - finding proper sounds which are not copyrighted - code everything - code an accurate flightmodel (AFM/PFM) -> thanks to phant - Write the whole documentation in different languages - check back with the army/airforce what you are allowed to do or not (I for example signed a contract of the Nato which says that I'm not allowed to visualize airforce stuff which is not 100 % checked by the proper persons of the german airforce). The realistic the module will get the more the responsible persons will have an eye on the signed contract. . As soon you breach the contract, your flying in a balitic curve into jail. - Further on ...there may be persons which are actually in charge of that what you can do or not and when you ask them, they are suddenly not responsible at all Thanks for your patience
  21. Good Luck, guys...looking very good
  22. Good luck, guys. I wish you all the best
  23. Thanx guys
  24. I've added new screenshots of the BO-105 flying in DCS World. Flying with KA-50 dll's is not fun.:pilotfly: Olli
