In theory yes it can be done depending on the building models and skins but it could hit your frames really badly on a DCS map.

Yes, 3d max will get your model in the DCS sim. A little lua scripting will help that but for full cockpit integration you need the C# library from the SDK which is only available to ED partners and 3rd party developers under licence agreement. It's quite a bit different from Frostbite and CryEngine editor tools. You essentially use the mods folder to "add" your vehicle/building/ship/plane into the sim. Hope that helps.

Just watched this tonight in 3d and loved it. Yes it's not the original (still remember going to see that) but the references are still there to the original. And of course the effects now are spectacular, even the A-10's ;) Thoroughly enjoyed it and will probably see it again with another pal :D

I've actually found that since I split up with my girlfriend, I have all this extra cash in my bank from not going out for dinners, cinema's, weekends away, etc. I remember what those days felt like to have money...for games lol I'm pretty sure SC won't go that way, or at least hope it won't especially as it's crowd funded already.

Yep fully agree with you there and I thought £14 for a game, well that's fairly cheap. That £14 has allowed me to level up my ships and keep going. Even if I play it for a couple of months, it's still cheaper than a night out ;) But I'm sure some fun can be had with the free pew pew's
