Couldn't sleep last night so played a little to relax. I like the zooming function a lot, overview to in the midst of battle with a quick scroll is very cool. I'm also getting used to the capabilities. 6 shilka's are a deadly force reaping havoc on tanks as well as aircraft. I find the planes a bit dum in that they get hit once but keep circling until they get shot down. Overall an enjoyable game. I haven't started the campaign yet and did a few multiplayer 10x10 matches.

The F117 rains it hard, poor enemy!!

Just played for the past hour, fun game :) I used to love playing Command & Conquer way back since the very first version so loving this as its very similar. Although Tornado's have one shot then go back to re-arm, come on!! Haha

LOMAC FC1 FC2 BS1 (although never learnt how to fly it or start it up, just looked at the clickable cockpit in awe). A-10C where I learnt the start-up and systems BS2 - where I learnt how to fly it and be effective in combat, still can't start it though Then every module ever since.

The VEAO forums were hit by over 2000+ registrants per minute so we had to move the forums. All development work is held well away from any private servers so nothing on our side got "hacked". We do love these denial of service attacks though...sigh

Running DCS in admin mode? right click on icon, properties, compatibility, bottom tick box

You can have as many planes on an airfield to the amount of parking ramps available on that airfiled and then you can set to start on the runway (warm start) in addition to those. I'm sure there is a limit to that but I've never reached it.

Was great flying the Huey with Pat, Ray and the guys this past week. Once the server is back up ill offer some formation instruction sessions on pre-arranged dates.

Jim's funeral is tomorrow. Unfortunately due to work commitments I can't make it but I'm sure it will be a lovely service and wake with a great send off for a great man.
