  1. I think they have sorted out the problems now, all recent updates and releases have downloaded at close to the max download speed for my connection.
  2. I hope they can model the growth rate of plants realistically so we can plough the field, plant some seeds and watch the wheat grows. Hopefully we can get a fence asset pack to keep the goats away from the crops.
  3. You can download it it now but won't be able to use it until you install a terrain module in it.
  4. I have ridden in the back of Huey, Chinook, blackhawk, caribou, Hercules, C-17 and 707 tanker, all Australian defence force versions. I have climbed though a sabre engine bay with the engine removed, sat in an F-111 and flown the F-111 procedural simulator (no graphics). Have been in the back of C-141, C-5 and Antonov AN-124 and Il-76 on the ground. Have been up close to: F-18, A-6, A-4, AV-8B, F-15, F-16, SU-27, C-27J, Tiger helicopter, sea Hawk, SH-3, LYNX, porter, Lancaster, spitfire, sea fury, Catalina and probably more. It has been a feat of memory for me to recall these, now I need a nap..
  5. You don't need Nevada just the free DCS 2.0 download. Edit: twice in 5 minutes sniped by chichlidfan, he is just too quick.
  6. No you won't be able to join an mp server that is using the pack or use the units in any way without it.
  7. All good ideas, it would be nice if these could be included natively in DCS, but in lieu of that a mod would be most welcome.
  8. Many people (I have no idea why) seem not to be interested in the WWII stuff. This way they can get the map a little cheaper. It has been mentioned that there will be some sort of "modern" mode for the map so those strange people not interested in "real" flying can use all the current assets and they are hardly likely to frequent WWII servers so I think the worries of "fracturing" the community are being overblown. I think we need to give others a bit more credit for having the intelligence to master complex modules and not being confused about which product they want to buy. Of course I could be wrong.......;)
  9. Not so scary now huh?
  10. Does anyone know if they have lifted the weight restrictions for pilots? Of course this didn't come to my mind because of the previous video posted....
  11. And a front seat AI, so I can sit in the back twiddling knobs and tell it where to point the nose.
  12. With the new AI units in Normandy the pig will have plenty of targets both air and ground it can outclass, especially in single player. Hopefully once the Normandy news cycle has calmed down a little we can get some P-47 status updates.
  13. Thanks Sith, I need a shower anyway so might head over to the filthbook then wash myself clean. Edit: Wow, looks fantastic, cant wait to take the Spit for a jolly......
  14. It is quite a simple concept, it gives you choice rather than, as some people are seeing it, making you buy extra. I for one welcome choice. I must have missed it somehow in my excited reading of the last 20 pages, but I cant find Glowing Amraams trailer on the tube, can someone give me a quick link please.
  15. F-35B firing it's gun pod, in flight, for the first time and some interesting information on a proposed multi mission pod http://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/8124/check-out-this-pic-of-an-f-35b-firing-its-gun-pod-in-the-air-for-the-first-time https://www.terma.com/press/news-2012/f-35-multi-mission-pod-on-display/
  16. It's good and interesting information about the real life vs sim functions of the Gazelle. However the OP was requesting a feature to aid the use of the Gazelle in single player simulator. Is it something that is possible to be implemented?
  17. Correct, but no news until Polychop have their house in order.
  18. Yes, to run on 2 separate machines at the same time you need 2 activations (for NTTR) on 2 separate accounts. Someone tried to do the virtual machine trick but starforce would not allow 2 separate activations on one physical pc even with 2 purchases of NTTR and 2 accounts.
  19. I. Don't think the GT220 will work at all with dcs as it's not DirectX 11 compatible, minimum would be a 500 series nvidia card and even then you would have to play at reduced graphics levels. If you can afford a new pc the Spitfire is well worth the price of admission.
  20. I agree with the OP, a method of repositioning without disengaging auto hover. This could be the aforementioned cyclic override, or my preference would be a way of communicating with an ai pilot eg. Left 50 or forward 100 or make heading 140.
  21. I would love a properly modelled seaplane module.
  22. Good work, I agree their is not enough British ground equipment. I Fondly remember building a 1/72 model of one of these as a kid.
  23. RAAF F-35s arrive for Avalon air show, their first public display in Australia. http://mobile.abc.net.au/news/2017-03-03/joint-strike-fighters-to-make-public-debut-at-avalon-air-show/8320856?pfmredir=sm
  24. It hasn't been updated for a while, but this looks promising : https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=151796 Also +1 for a porter.
