  1. My apologies, no disrespect intended! PS: And corrected, Thanks! ;)
  2. Thank you
  3. Ah, well, again, it is to pay homage to all marines and chose elements accordingly. The uniform was inspiration, not intended to be the pilots uniform directly.
  4. Why do you say that Svsmokey?
  5. That may be, but I did use an official font for the USMC.
  6. Thanks for the feedback. Link updated in the OP.
  7. I agree with Philstyle on all but the needing 10km AFTER the release. I have been able to get successful carpet bombing done and have them turn and dive/climb immediately after release. This was done with 9-12 aircraft in the group. Everything else is spot in in my experience, with the lead time/range to the actual target being the key.
  8. The AO (Aerobatics Online) server had to turn off the wake turbulence due to it being used as a weapon as one could flip a whole line of aircraft on the ramp with a single low pass from a fighter sized aircraft.
  9. SWAPR (SWeet Automatic Player Replacement script) is a solution, though not sure how compatible it is with the Super Carrier: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=246709&highlight=swapr Would be great for this to be built in by ED.
  10. You know them Marines when in dress uniform. Somehow stay squeaky clean no matter what. ;)
  11. Livery now available here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3309098/ Thanks for the feedback!
  12. The mustang can take off just fine with only 40 MP and the engine will be fine as well.
  13. You should notice (if it was setup correctly) that the track files are now all a static size in relation to the mission that was flown. It is no longer recording the movements of aircraft, but you still get the mission data which is only a fraction of what you would normally have.
  14. With the Warbirds of Prey WWII mission on the Normandy map utilizing WWII assets, there is a definite difference when using the --norender option. AI patrols and ground AAA will not engage with the --norender option. Remove the option and the AI engages as one would expect.
  15. Just tested in SP and MP. No errors with 206 client aircraft on the Normandy map. Observations: - Aircraft now show preloaded ordinance where the statics did not. - With this many clients, I did notice a performance hit on FPS. This is not the scripts fault though, just have to keep in mind number of displayed objects (with ordinance, skins, etc) that the mission creator must balance for a smooth mission. - Client aircraft set to hidden in the ME are not hidden when sitting on the ramp. Is it possible to carry over that value to the inactive aircraft? Major improvements overall and no setbacks that I could see. Awesome work!!!
  16. This is a great improvement to an already great script. Will need to test to see if it solved the high client count issue. About the only other thing I would like to see if it could be added is an OPTION to disable the slot if the aircraft was damaged while waiting for a client. Along with the option to turn that on and off, a variable to set how long you wanted it to be disabled for. Though, even without that capability, you have done something great for the community and thank you for all the time and effort you have put into this.
  17. Have you tried updating back to the working version? Might be worth it for the video.
  18. That is interesting. So the F5E track stripped ALL client aircraft from view? Tracks always did have a problem surviving more than a few updates, but this is a new level. They really need to change how it works. Would think simple position/attitude tracking with the aircraft type would be quite sufficient. IMHO, could dump the whole "Able to jump back in and take over" bit if it meant we could get usable tracks/replays.
  19. They used to be able to get REAL close back around version 1.1-1.2. Then they changed things. The response was that they had no intention of the AI being able to fly like the Blue Angels. All of the aircraft in this picture are AI, all set to follow the tanker (Screenshot timestamp: Thursday, ‎June ‎19, ‎2014, ‏‎3:54:10 PM) . Using the follow command, I have been able to get them as close as about 100 feet on any 2 axis. Any closer and you risk collisions or erratic behavior from the AI. (EDIT: Had misremembered, was around 1.2 that it changed.)
  20. And none of that matters on whether there will be a Thunderbird's skin made for it. If its an F16, there WILL be a T-bird skin made by someone. Probably ED will do a basic one, and someone else will do a more detailed one. All this talk of what block it SHOULD be will not matter. People have to make do with what is available.
  21. Cool, thanks, Yeah, the large number of client aircraft is mostly to give them preset options. I am sure that modern day missions might have even more given the fact that there are even more different aircraft to choose from. And learning from this, and I am sure you knew already, but for others looking into this script, you do not HAVE to build a table entry for EVERY client aircraft if you have a large selection. You can tailor the list to have just enough to make it look populated, but not bloated full of targets. Yes, doing this, there will be some aircraft that pop into existence, but its another trade off from showing a 100% full airfield because you want to give your clients options. That in itself may be an unrealistic situation. For many years, this has been asked for and always the answer was that it could not be done. YOU have made it work. Not only that, but in a way that can be integrated into older missions. Yes, there IS a certain amount of work involved to do it, but for most that have put in that much work into a mission, this would be miniscule amount in comparison. Well worth the effort and can only see it being improved from here! Well done!
  22. I ended up trimming down the table build mission to 56 aircraft. This was probably more than required to get it to work, but for the mission, made a logical sense for the aircraft placement and population there of. I kept the same number of clients in the original mission and things seem to be working properly.
  23. They are in the same location as on your client: ...\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Tracks\Multiplayer And unfortunately no, there will be no cockpit views, so there is that tradeoff.
  24. Virtual Thunderbird pre-show was fantastic! https://www.twitch.tv/videos/462049870 And then the races (Starting at 50 minutes in): https://www.twitch.tv/videos/462047083?t=50m02s
