Strange in MiG-21BIS there is only one pilot in MiG-21BIS_Pilot.zip file. In custom skins there is no diference in description.lua files with original one. only original is in Core Moduls and custom is in Bazar folder. Did you try fly for default Blue side and which Pilot they have? To be honest I don't know the difference so didn't take attention. Question is did MiG-21BIS use default DCSW Pilots and what is determing look of the pilots?

Yes there is two reasons for it. First it is fresh painted no scratch marks or dirt from use implemented yet. Second is alpha channel so the model is little to much shine. Problem is with alpha skin will be less shine but not that much. In same time skin will be twice bigger what will effect on performance. So it is questionable is it worth it to do or not? It is still WiP and working exactly on this details to make it more realistic.

Thanks for support guys. :thumbup: Here some progress screenshot, it is about 60% done and wach out paint is still fresh. After finishing painting and paint get dry I have to fly it few more times to get some dirt and scratches for more realism of the skin.

Photoshop CS3 if freeware now and you can download it from adobe web page. I think is is best option for free. Also I'm working on Croatian Air Forces skins both Grey and Cammo. Gray is almost done. Details are 100% done as much 3D model allow it because in realiti it is upgraded UMD model. So I don't know should I paint GPS antena on nose or not because it is not represent in 3D model? And this is screenshot of the skin in game. Cammo is under 60% WiP and there is one finished skin of former SFR Yugoslav Air Forces. Last one is done and will be available for download under official DCS page after checking process is done.

There is solution for this in your HOTASs profiler software. In the axis section you can chose one of the axis buttons. In properties of the axis set 11 sectors equal size and set it up each sector for position of trigger. This way you will get exactly the same button like it is in cockpit with 11 positions matching real one. It is even better for immersion in game. I set it up this way on my G940 but all hot ass got this possibilities. But anyway supporting this idea same as toggle button.

Finally I find some time to finish the job. Spinning cone is fixed and now spins all the time, so it is possible after all in the game. This skin is based on real skin for F-190 A7 from 1944. I will be glad that we have A7 too here but we have only Dora that is only part which is not fully realistic. You could download and check it out for your self on official users download section on DCS World web page.

If I understand you correctly there is PSD template for this skin. Searching internet for most exact data about it. You can find most stuff on modelers pages. In this case this skin was used on FW 190A not D but we don't have A model in DCS so I made some adaptation but in essence this is exact painting used in II - JG1 in that period of time.

The future of VR or immersion in game is great. TrackIR is VR as well only at least workink just part of it but the point here TrackIR is outdated and way much expencive. Just compare the prices and chsck what you got for the price. TrackIR + clip = is 176$ for less money and everything what TrackIR could doo you can buy PS3 Eye + Delan clip = 48$ So you could buy everything you need without DIY and save 128$ and you will newer notice difference in use. If we compare TrackIR with Oculus Rift in what you can get and the price TrackIR is again overrated. It is just half of the price of 350$ how much Oculus is but can't give you 20% of the immersion level Oculus already provide and remember it is WiP and improving performance day by day and TrackIR is not made single progress in this 5 years. Yea someone will say it is compare 4 and 5. Yes true but that is progress of third part made just hardware they use. It is even worse and prove Natural point didn't do nothing by it self. I'm not talking now is it good hardware or not or on its performances my point and fact is TrackIR is overrated and overpriced piece of old hardware who should in this 5 years drop the price and they didn't at all. Today TrackIR not worth more than 50 - 60$ maximum so im my eyes this fact made Naturalpoint as one company who just ripping us off. Personally I don't understand such policy. In my opinion with price of 50 - 60$ I doubt it someone will doing experiments with third part hardware when there is no economical reason for it. On side with individuals who just interested in DiY, I'm talking on majority like my self. I'm living in EU and price is here much more epencive so here is above 200$ and I got my alternative solution for less than 25$ with minimum of DIY or for 50$ without any DIY needed. If I want to spend 175$ than its much better to save twice and get Oculus Rift. This days is started another VR project called Totem. So check it out and compare with Oculus. They have some interesting advantages and solutions like motion tracking from first person build in cameras instead of IR points. Future is bright and TrackIR miss its opportunity and is already dying just because of human greed.

BTW Howl. Since you start this thread parallel with my HRZ/CAF skin I will made for you JNA-RV skin too. Most of the work is same and when I will be ready for publishing HRZ skin just have to put proper markings and you will get JNA on silver body in same time as this one. :thumbup:
