  1. Well, i think i know what went wrong in my track THIS time. I was taxi-ing with one engine, while the other engine was spooling up. I remember having to compensate pretty roughly to keep from going off the taxi-way. This is where the track failed. Lessons learned sofar concerning tracks : Don't taxi with one engine Don't alternate with S on and off too much while taxi-ing Don't taxi more than needed. Don't taxi close to grass. Don't fly close to ground when not needed. Don't land/take off on edge of runway Don't use small rudder inputs when taxi-ing.
  2. Look frostie, it is what it is. The topic shifted towards a "what if" scenario some pages ago. It's not my fault that you feel embarrassed for missing that and are now trying to overcompensate with an insulting post directed at me, instead of just saying: "oh i missed that my bad" like a true gentleman would.
  3. PLEASE fix the tracks ED ! Just had awesome run in with guy that wanted to kamikaze me after i splashed him , he tried TWICE ! I want to see it but ... of course, ... the track is CORRUPTED> A google search will tell us that it's been years that tracks have no longer been working , 75% of them fail  Why is nobody trying to fix ? It's important feature for many of us, it somehow feels more important than the millionth WW2 plane
  4. We're not talking reality anymore for a while now . These are just examples of why it would be too OP if we could "program" our amraams. (in the game)
  5. Well, the repair did seem to fix the issue for now thx flagrum
  6. Not true , it should only go active when plane radar loses target, OR when pilot chooses it to go active (say he has to defend or run) Really it would be OP
  7. Is it supposed to be done really quickly ? (5 seconds) ?
  8. hmm thx i try. Will i lose my settings ? edit* hmm how do i do repair
  9. Yeah well, i still very much like to know when a missile has found me , and get an idea how far it is away from me. Without pitbull and ability to track in TWS, amraams would become almost like ET's with much more range. 2 stronk i say. 2 STRONK !!
  10. Hmm maybe ill downclock my cpu back to 4.5 again first. Maybe its not stable after the recent weather change
  11. Crashing into ground (dying) Ending mission Going to spectator mode Ending a flight Ending a track . Mission rotate . This kind of started with the latest update i think , altough i had the occasional crash before so i can not exactly pinpoint it. Now though, basically anything that ends something , makes the game crash. Anyone else have this ?
  12. hey man, read this : http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=125757&page=2 Can't really tell you what to fly though, the servers i play on have an obundance of players flying A-10's, SU25's, and KA-50's. (and fighters of course)
  13. Man, it would be pretty OP if you could actually program the time to active time Or better yet, never let it go active at all ! Probably not possible in TWS because crappy update time though. OR , be able to choose the time to active time while the missile is IN FLIGHT :pilotfly: Nobody would ever dare to go even near an F15 then though
  14. I instantly feel extremely uncomfortable when zooming in. Feels like having these eye flaps on that they put on horses. first thing i do is zoom out a little bit, need to see a little size window or i get panicy feeling. A bigger monitor would be beneficial though. Sry for wall, phone
  15. You know what, i don't think so but am not sure. It's the new "bison" mission on the 104th
  16. Sometimes, not always, it's like my missile goes full idiot. Target is 10 miles away, below me, i fire while i already point my nose below him, and the missile goes off the rail like it wants to hit the moon . Then halfway up there, it realizes it should go DOWN , but by then it has already overshot completely, and if it hasn't yet, it has depleted all it's energy doing this dumb manouvre. Why ?
  17. Yeah the hotas warthog looks so nice. Probably feels a lot nicer as well, that's why i would buy it , for the weight alone . The X52 is so featherlight feels like a toy. I'll stick with it for now though, maybe the A-10 is too much for me to take in would be a shame if i bought an expensive stick then.
  18. ah, a fellow dutchy Congratulations! You have been chosen to be my mentor once i have reached "formiliar with aircraft" level. Then, later, when i am @ pro level , you can say : "i taught him everything he knows" :noexpression: edit* No ? :D Before this spirals out of control, i feel i need to mention that i am obviously kidding. I know the A-10 is difficult :) The only real question i have is ... is my saitek X52 enough , button wise ?
  19. Well, since there is nothing for me left to learn in FC3 (i am now pro after a couple of weeks as demonstrated below) .... ... it's time to move to the next "challenge" . Taking my above average talent into consideration, and also the fact that the A-10 is a much slower and therefore simpler aircraft than the F15 , how much of this sunday should i need to become pro @ the warthog ? Also, i have the highly acclaimed "X52" stick. I chose the NON "pro" version, because i think that would be overkill in my situation . Does it have enough buttons for the A-10 though ? Considering the A-10's much older and crappier systems ? Thanks in advance. I expect many answers swiftly.
  20. Who wants to be in japanese of worse, american submarine ? No , when it comes to subs i only want german ones. SH III for me
  21. Best option to try first ^ Then if they are really REALLY flying close and it does not work , try move plane left or right . One target will lag behind on your radar screen briefly, if push button fast enough you can lock it to .
