Flying at low altitude with burners on will drain all your tanks in a matter of minutes There is a "fuel flow indicators" in your plane, you can watch them they tell you how much fuel is burning

I remember bringing my PS3 controller with me in the car and practicing backdash cancels in my lunch break. I quit that game not long after. Felt more like work than playing. Pushed too hard and whoopsie no more fun ! Just get some internet and do some circle jerking with mr. Stuge, you'll learn a lot faster that way and it's a lot more fun. He made me the very best BVR pilot in a matter of weeks . (I"M KIDDING MUAHAHAH DON"T FLAME ME BRO"S ! :D:D:D )

Uploading my best of first 5 attempts ever @ this dogfighting stuff , against A.I . It's a bit tougher than i thought, looks hilarious :megalol: At one point the A.I could even shoot me, weren't if for the fact that they literally ONLY fire if they have a 100% certain shot at you . They do not "spray" and damage you like humans do . Biggest problems sofar are what i presume the basics : Speed managment (!) Manouvring without hud while looking out sidewindow

hmm, thx for that as i was considering that one to and that was a worry of mine as i considered getting an Asus 278HE next to my 24 inch version (248QE) I'll keep the 24 in that case. I sit pretty close to my screen anyway, i think 27 would be too big. That ultrawide thing looks glorious, but probably IPS :_(

What will you be using it for mostly ? What are your needs

Just a quick reply to this post, as i think it deserves one . One thing i'd like to point out is, that i truely do not understand where this alledged "i am so great" attitude of mine would be coming from. I don't think that, at all, and i honestly can not for the life of me figure out where some of you get this idea from. I even checked my posts to see if i come off as someone who thinks he's the ****, but can not figure out why some of you think that i "fly around thinking i'm a hardass" :huh: I'm fully aware i'm a newb. I am not the least bit ashamed to ask the dumbest questions in the forums, or show my terrible failures in youtubes. I think it might be the signature , combined with my unhealthy obsession with statistics (please do NOT bring back the stats page!) that makes some people think , that i think i'm "awesome". lol thank you for proving my point :) watch some tournaments on YouTube, some hand movement video's. Took me 1,5 years of intense practice, only to realize that if i ever wanted to come close to the good guys i should have starter 10 years earlier. Blaze, i really dont get where you are coming from. Always so hostile :-/

So much hate and fear of THE fps player I hope you all realize that 1) People are different, there are mature and kiddie people in every game genre. 2) Every game genre has people that put in great amounts of effort in to get better. If that is perfecting a barrel roll, or perfecting your aim time, i really don't see the difference. You can play any game on a committed level . There is only one goal, and that is to get better. Regardless of what game that is. 3) This sim, awesome as it may be, is not the all superior to other games when talking about "intelligence" or "knowledge". There are seemingly "simple" games (tekken for instance), that go so deep many of the experienced simmers couldn't even grasp even if they tried. They require dedication, knowledge, and effort needed to get good, on a level that FAR exceed this sim. So please, some of you need to get off their high horses , and shouldn't underestimate or look down upon other genres.

Make hole in side of case, buy 200x200 fan , all your heat problems are over for ever. Fan is big so low rpm and really silent. As for sli cards, i think they are always kind of close together, the cards are designed to put their heat out through the backside. Though i do think that something like this could could some heat issues no matter how well vented your case is

yes maximus_derp is me . Fair enough i thought it was something like that , didn't know the weather settings affected FPS much, also if it affects server stability then i as well choose for perpetual sunlight. Stability over scenery. Anyway the 1,5 hours of sun set is a nice addition i guess , always gives a nice atmosphere.

ok whatever. Another question, .. the weather and lighting. I understand that many people hate night missions, but some variety in weather/daylight would be nice maybe. Like some rain, dusk and dawns, maybe even 1 hour of darkness maybe at beginning of mission . Or does this cause instability problems ? Since there is no weather change at all i am thinking that . Not that i would notice much of it since i'm mostly looking at the scoreboard, but for others it might be nice to ! Oh and will the server be down this weekend for this warrior thing ?

Objectively though, seeing as the 780 is about 426 euro's, and the 770 about 275 euro's, it seems it's not a bad deal. Not mindblowing good but ... Do you have to trade them your old card ? Because in that case you might be better off if you'd sell this one yourself, and get a 780 yourself, maybe even second hand If you can keep your old card (and sell it), the question is easy. Then do it.

Is there something wrong with hit detection ? Today , i was flying , killed some guys ... (6 i believe) , and i remember running out of fuel once 200 meters before the runway and crashing. However, when i look at the scoreboard, suddenly i see FOUR losses :huh: Then, i kill 2 more, i check scoreboard again, and guess what : SIX losses ?!?! :huh: I know there's the occasional undeserved loss the server seems to give you sometimes, even when completely undamaged, but this was getting a little out of hand :mad: Anything i can do to prevent this ?

Looks like a really immersive pit. I like that it's closed around you , room lights off and i think it's very immersive to fly, also because of good view 3 panel with window linings. Yes, very nice. Again, the closed roof and sides make it extra awesome
