Just noticed that in mission editor , flight behaviour is much different ?

ATI if you want the "smoke cheat" for multiplayer apparently. (engine smoke trails seem to be MUCH more visible from much farther away when using ATI cards for some reason) Nvidia if you want SLI and overall better performance . Flew with this guy yesterday, he kept saying "can't you see my smoke?" , from 10 miles away. I'm like "wtf man no" . He was surprised lol

0.1 seconds before impact ? Missile tracked all the way, right untill impact. You can still notch when THAT close to missile ? I honestly think there is a problem with low level tracking in general, this happens in all angles not just from the sides unfortunately

Seems all you need to do is get low, and you become untouchable . :mad: Not to discredit the other pilot btw, because he incredible pilot and 10x better than i am as everybody knows. That is part of the reason i was so angry when i saw the tacview cause i would have LOVED to have shot him :D

I am not sure, i would guess yes. But it's easy to test in mission editor is it not ?

It's pretty broken, but a pretty important feature as well . Has ED ever commented on it ?

It probably depends on the speed you have at the moment it happens. If going not very fast, i think you're screwed. IF have enough speed, and can keep an equilibrium and don't have to manouvre much, maybe one can get lucky :d

And there are snobs out there but they are in every community.

If that were true ^ , than nobody would play any FPS online ever :lol: The rage going around is about 100x more intense . Problem is that the chat is way too cumbersome to use , but ideally everybody would just be on TS.

How long has it been since you played ? Many thing changed with the 1.2.8 patch, a completely "new" flight model was introduced for the F15 . Landing was indeed too easy, THAT now feels a lot more real and is a bit more tricky . The spinning out of control at medium to high altitudes though, that doesn't seem very realistic to me but what do i know.

One time, i forgot my landing gear. Too bad because the landing felt PERFECT otherwise . It was so smooth. So when i had slided to a stop, and repaired, the engineers picked up my plane, and dropped it again and kept setting me on fire. Everytime after repair i thought wtf ?! Then i realized that my gear was still up, so while i was on fire and on the ground, i pressed "g" , horrible noises , but finally when they repaired again, i wasn't on fire :)

Anyone playing today ? It's a holiday in holland but i'm guessing not in the rest of europe and US :(

well yeah i was trying this notch thing so i just did it for as long as i could. Wasn't trying to kill him. I thought the max angle was 30 degrees ? of the RWR , that's why i rock my wings every now and then -_- I just figured, as long as i can see him on my RWR , i'm not out of this angle , right ? So if i can see him on my RWR, i should also get a lock tone if he manages to lock me again. At least that's what i thought. And i think i was looking if my tanks were dropping when i switched to heat seaker , not so much VSD, ( i think :D ) I almost never use AAQ mode so who knows what i was doing lol
