It has been released to the Closed Beta Group within DCS since a few Weeks now. The Problem is more, the lack of Communication of ED's Side (in my Opinion) and thats why people are going nuts. The Users are waiting every Friday for news in the newsletter regarding the 130 and nothing new is coming. So im not surprised about everyone is getting slowly impatient.

In real life how do Apache pilots roll or Immelman the helicopter
dahui replied to DmitriKozlowsky's topic in DCS: AH-64D
Tell me the difference between a 90° Bank Turn an a Loop from the Velocity point of view. If you would have enough speed and the loop diameter would be gibt enough, it would be no problem. Of course its from a theoretical standpoint. Thats why i said "if enough velocity" I dont want to start a debate about what is possible and works and what not. i just wanted to clarify something which a lot of people mix up -

Every Helicopter, regardless of its Rotorsystem, could do a loop. The Main Problem is the velocity to keep you in a Positive G State. The "Pitch Bank Turn" on the other hand is no Problem for any Helo -
Definetly! I just hope they will release the Plane regardless of the progress of the Mobile FARP

I would leave it in English then, to learn it. The English in DCS is very simple (Like most Technical & Aviation English) It wont take long until you understand most of it. Start also watching a but of YT Videos in English with Subtitles. Thats how i learned it. I think he wanted to explain to you why Baltic did it how he did it. I also first try and error without any instruction or tutorial until i get mad after 45mins and then watch the videos or do the training missions. Im shure with the Checklist and Manual (which will hopefully released soon) you can learn most of it yourself in a quick way IRL i also like to have my Instructors explain me why something is like it is. But as Furia wrote, the explanations of systems happens in the classroom during the groundcourse so it get efficient when youre in the cockpit. (Time is money in the civilian world)

correct as is Fuel Pump Never shut down Engines
dahui replied to MrNewLife's topic in Bugs and Problems
that doesnt mean it should shut down the engines. Most engines have a Mechanicly Driven Engine Driven Fuel Pump.- 1 reply

Normally,(General Helicopters) the Torque stays more or less with the physical position of the collective, while with more altitude, the MGT will rise. The only thing could be, that the Apache has a limiter, but i doubt it. The Torquebehaviour is strange anyway on the DCS AH64 (way to jumpy) If you pull a bit of G's while flying with, lets say 90%, you have immediatly 120% A few % would be normal, but not 30%
