  1. Dont know how it is with the Chinook, but on other aircrafts it will definetly work. Engines have Mechanical High and or Low Pressure Fuel Pumps which provide enough pressure to start and keep them running
  4. with 74% NR, the Generators are your smallest Problem So on the Chinook the first Limit is usually NG? Not even MGT? Thats interesting
  5. MD 500 von 8Ball & Tobi
  6. i confirm this (Licenced Helo Engineer) The FADEC will stop the Fuel Flow once you switched to the Starter to the OFF Position and prevents it from overheating (ie HotStart) Only if the Engine Start is completed, the "Starter Stop" is useless. Regardless of the the Reality simulated wrong, if a Value goes down on the Engine Page, the Sound belonging to the value should also go down
  7. The devs changed a lot at the last update. so it might be, altough i never had issues with it on the Chinook
  8. You probably get into a Vortex Ring State This happens with low airspeed, high rate of descent and high power setting. Try to do a less steep approach greetings
  9. please include the feature at 0:34ish
  10. Thankyou!
  11. Hello Some things seems to be not right: - With Collective Full Down it glides better than a Sailplane. There is almost no sinkrate. It should be at least 1500 to 2k feet - When Collective Full Down (Throttle still open) and MR RPM of 102% an N2 with 100% the Torque still shows 24%, when going to 103% Rotor RPM it goes directly to 0. There is nothing in between. 24% is the Torque on the Ground Flat Pitch. In Flight it should be less, until 10% both Rotor RPM and N2 should be the same. Below you could hear how the Freewheel starts to do its magic. - Does the KIOWA has a Torque Limiter when opening the throttle from Idle to Flight? to be below 40%? Also in Manual Mode? - Great Progress in the Sound! However, the Bladeflap should still be reworked. Just because you bank, you dont hear automaticly a bladeflap. Only when you Pull G's or with low collective setting in descent and banking. Attached is a Track - first Part the NR vs. N2 - second Part the Descent Rate - Thirdt Part the Torque during Transition from Idle to Flight in Manual Mode. i also pressed the Wrong buton accidently and shuted the Engine off. Thats why the Fireball at then End OH58.trk
  12. so in the F Model you needed to trim manually (AFT Stick Position as mentioned) to maintain Airspeed?
  13. You could also do a loop in a 2 blade. The only issue is the speed / velocity. Vne is not enough to pull and have enough speed to keep positive G on the top point of the loop
  14. Definetly goes into the right direction. Altough the Flapping Sound is still not happening in the real thing like that. Only when you pull G's or you have a low Collective Setting
