i dont know why... but we flown a few planes with our lama and we always hang them like the where flying by it self. But we put a net over the wing, so they are not able the generating any lift anymore :) also a bigbag or a Parachute on the Vertical Stabilizer, so the plane is not able to spin around. When you do it, like the Mi-26 on the Pics, then it can cause, that the Plane swings and spins around. with the Heavy Load it would be pretty dangerous... Helog-Heliswiss have done it too with a Mirage but im not able to find any pictures :/

Thats the point... Its something different, than the agil Huey and BlackShark. You cant push it around like a small combat helo. you have to be carefull with the power setting, the approach etc. And that is what is interesting for me. When then the Sling Load feature is implemented, i will fly nothing else than the hip... maybe the Huey from time to time then :D

guys :D You can land very close beneath the load and press the Hook Button ;) you dont have to hover over it :)

yes, you have no winch normaly for cargo in the civil world you have 12, 20, 30, 45m Long Line (standart Logging OPS) etc... a Winch would be too heavy... There are different release variants. always a Mechanical Hook Release and a Panel where you can choose which hook or Function is active on the ControlStick. Lower Hook, like the Long Line for Wood, BambiBucket Water Relase etc. or simply the upper Hock on the Helicopter.

absolutely AWSOME!!! :D one bug i seen: After you attach the Cargo, the helicopter has the weight already on the hook, so you have to pull the collective pretty hard. But the Line is still lose and the Cargo on the ground... Is it possible to change the Ropelenght?

Skull If you are comfortable with that, and its better ,why not? :) I have noticed that too. But in my case it was because i havent well trimmed and i have steered too much :)

ahm... when you are in "cruise-mode" (80kts level flight) and making a turn you dont need the collective Flagrum... A Helo in Cruiseflight is like an airplane... for normal Heading and Altitude changes you are using the stick. Collective is set to Max Cont. Power normaly maybe its because you are doing too much. Have you trimmed the helo good enough? I have a X52 with a longer stick (about 30cm) and have the sensivity on 5 on nick and roll... greetings

That you have to push on the hill side is absolutely clear. i just ask about it, if it is too much? You see it on the one screen, "normaly" the trim is on the back left side depending on the load of the huey. Here you see it is far in front.

Hi When you try to land on a steep surface, as closer you get to the ground you have to push the stick quite hard in the direction to the hill. But in RL it dont need that much input. Does someone note that too?

yes and no the Swashplate itself should stay where it is, (as i can see it from the technical drawings. But above the Swashplate, there are MixingArms and these should move up and down the ones below the boot

I hope i can build up our FTO soon... so i can start flying... getting sick off it, not to start it -.-
