  1. with 74% NR, the Generators are your smallest Problem So on the Chinook the first Limit is usually NG? Not even MGT? Thats interesting
  2. MD 500 von 8Ball & Tobi
  3. i confirm this (Licenced Helo Engineer) The FADEC will stop the Fuel Flow once you switched to the Starter to the OFF Position and prevents it from overheating (ie HotStart) Only if the Engine Start is completed, the "Starter Stop" is useless. Regardless of the the Reality simulated wrong, if a Value goes down on the Engine Page, the Sound belonging to the value should also go down
  4. The devs changed a lot at the last update. so it might be, altough i never had issues with it on the Chinook
  5. You probably get into a Vortex Ring State This happens with low airspeed, high rate of descent and high power setting. Try to do a less steep approach greetings
  6. please include the feature at 0:34ish
  7. Thankyou!
  8. Hello Some things seems to be not right: - With Collective Full Down it glides better than a Sailplane. There is almost no sinkrate. It should be at least 1500 to 2k feet - When Collective Full Down (Throttle still open) and MR RPM of 102% an N2 with 100% the Torque still shows 24%, when going to 103% Rotor RPM it goes directly to 0. There is nothing in between. 24% is the Torque on the Ground Flat Pitch. In Flight it should be less, until 10% both Rotor RPM and N2 should be the same. Below you could hear how the Freewheel starts to do its magic. - Does the KIOWA has a Torque Limiter when opening the throttle from Idle to Flight? to be below 40%? Also in Manual Mode? - Great Progress in the Sound! However, the Bladeflap should still be reworked. Just because you bank, you dont hear automaticly a bladeflap. Only when you Pull G's or with low collective setting in descent and banking. Attached is a Track - first Part the NR vs. N2 - second Part the Descent Rate - Thirdt Part the Torque during Transition from Idle to Flight in Manual Mode. i also pressed the Wrong buton accidently and shuted the Engine off. Thats why the Fireball at then End OH58.trk
  9. so in the F Model you needed to trim manually (AFT Stick Position as mentioned) to maintain Airspeed?
  10. You could also do a loop in a 2 blade. The only issue is the speed / velocity. Vne is not enough to pull and have enough speed to keep positive G on the top point of the loop
  11. Definetly goes into the right direction. Altough the Flapping Sound is still not happening in the real thing like that. Only when you pull G's or you have a low Collective Setting
  12. Once you taste Autopilots in CrossCountry Flights, you never want to go back
  13. Setting it down is not the issue its more the balancing on a sideslope and when you bank a few degrees to the hill its hard to stop or get back (look at the cyclic i need to bank back) thats the only thing i „brag“ about. Everything else its really enjoyable
  14. OH6_slope.trk Here is my Attempt. incl a fucked up AR at the End
  15. definetly less than 10 deg. i will try to reproduce and post a track
  16. I saw that too, but he pulls collective way earlier than reducing pedal, no?
  17. Hello Tobi Attached is the Track I flared and pulled Collective rapidly a few times during descend. There you can see, how the Aircraft yaws to the right. The Torque Needle doesnt move greetings Edit: See here also for reference. Whatch the Pedals OH6_AR.trk
  18. No, the correct performance is not implemented yet. 9k Feet, NegativeTemps and just fuel is definetly way not enough to bring the chinook to its limit
  19. I meant in the control options, where you can change the deadzone for example.
  20. i will check on sunday and try to post a track, thanks!
  21. Correct, but with a closed throttle there is no torque
  22. can you maybe check your settings that your throttle doesnt jump between 100% and 99.5%? Because i dont have that issue. Tobi, 8Ball: 2-3 thins i experienced. Please note, that i play very picky. So decide by yourself if you want to adress it or not. During Engine Start, the Raise of the Temp should be a bit Quicker and not going over the Red Line. 750, to 770 is a normal start Temp, There should be 2 Peaks at around 25% N1 and 35ish You can see here that the needle slows down and then continues to raise You should be able to release the Starter at 56-58% N1 (In the Book its 58 but in the RealWorld it works also a bit earlier. Idle 60% is the minimum you should have as per the Engine MM, standart is 63% (60 to 65) When doing slope landings, the Cyclic feels less responsive. a few degrees bank towards the hill and youre not able to recover. At the End of an AR, when cushion the Landing, it behaves as it would have a torque on the Tail, so you have to Push Power Pedal. Can you please Check? Im not able to post a track until sunday Please note that i really really enjoy this bird!!
  23. Did you check this Topic? (Lowering the Details to Medium was the solution for me)
  24. Just fly smooth. Center above the load, before pickup, slowly climb a few feet, then slowly and smoothly increase speed. Its only about Practice... good luck
