  1. Update: And if you check it on the left, and check "F10 View Options" on the left and set it to "ALL" then your external views are working in flight. A bit different than it used to be, and a bit strange - 'cause what is the point of the right checkbox then?
  2. I am not sure if this is a bug, or I am making some mistake. In Mission Editor, I wanted to allow external views to test something, but this is what happened: The check box on the right is dead. So, is this a bug, so I go and submit report in the appropriate forum section, or I am mistaking somwhere?
  3. How about members that come and act like ED is their parents who must grant all the kid's wishes? You think that it's OK, even if THAT is the actual trigger for people getting a natural wish to answer to malice with malice? Personally, I am sick of people who spit on work of ED, or anybody else, and even me IRL, and they don't even have a proof that they can make even a calculation in Microsoft Excel. And I know I am not alone in that. I mean... This guy made the thread with :bomb: attitude. What'd you expect? Help? Imagine a guy slamming open a door of a bar and entering with his attitude from the first post. He would make it 5 seconds before he'd get hit with a bar stool. Now, if someone makes a harsh joke as a result of his misbehaviour, it is just a natural reaction. :)
  4. I feel for him...I lack sex too XD
  5. I love this guy :D
  6. Save me! -.- I have not found alpha channel in the "TailFin" file, neither saving in a file format that doesn't support transparency helps. How the heck did this happen? Does anyone know in which specific file is this texture (inner part of the drag schute cover)?
  7. I am making a Su25T skin, but since it's basically 2 color gray, I want to make numbers (those on nose) gray, not the default blue. In the package on DCS main site there is no file for that. Does someone have a link or file that is used to define numbers?
  8. The word itself tells you. It is the process itself of "Bitdefender Parental Control". :)
  9. It seems like everyone is forgetting the fact and connection: UBISOFT > IL2 > LOMAC > DCS Is it any clearer now how it comes that DCS has it's eye on WWII? I wanted to say this for a long time :D
  10. Uhm no (me- dumb). WIll try this weekend, thanks for pointing it out mate :)
  11. Depends on the actual angle, I presume - e.g. does it come from 8 or 10 o'clock is not the same. (or 2 and 4)
  12. Yes yes, but Falcon already explained, and you did in your previous post. :) It's all clear. Thank you :)
  13. This is a friendly post, because it saddens me to see you answer like this to anyone, since I have so much hopes for DCS and on top of that I heard a lot of good things about you personally from simmers. No matter who or why says that your product is "Lame" it is very wrong to get down to that level of anger an vocabulary and answer him in this manner. It is not what professionals do. If you were my worker, I would be worried about the public picture you just gave the rest of us. I realise you're making a point that he didn't give any proofs to his conclusion. But that could've been said like this: "I would like you to upload the specific track for analysis, because we can not really react or check your claims based only on words. You probably understand that anything you see as a bug, whether if it is a bug or not, is just a tip of the iceberg of data that came to manifest in front of your eyes. So, for any serious answer from us, we need your track for detailed analysis. Thank you" I understand the amount of pressure you people have to cope with, I do a "tight schedule job" as well, but this is not a way to talk to your customers who should (and in my case WANT) to give you money for your work. P.S. I never uploaded track because after 159th_Falcon's explanation it was clear that there is no bug where I thought there was.
  14. All I asked is does instruments in RL react to air speed like in simulator. I am not so clueless, even thou I don't know exact words to describe what I know and what I don't. As for "30 deg. side wind" - thanks for being the only person to clarify to me that a non-90 deg. side wind does help for a "shorter" takeoff. And - I did not get offended. Neither myself, neither anyone else can know everything. If I had a problem with my lack of knowledge, I wouldn't make a public question. "Clueless" is a bit harsh word, and can be interpreted as you trying to mock at me, but it's ok, I realise you didn't have that intention and I am grateful for your help mate :) As you see - I am not so clueless. Just needed confirmation to what I've come to conclude in brackets. And it helps to get clarification on the fact that headwind actually helps you take off in a shorter notice. Basically I was unsure more than clueless... But I realise it's a bother to read previous posts, after all - we're all here when RealLife allows us to...
  15. If you can mark a point by GPS or other location coordinates, then you pinpoint the coordinates, not the object itself. Anyway... I don't believe that IRL it goes like: "Hey, Mike, would you drop a JDAM on that yellow house, second on the left, with 2 windows looking at the north" :P Coordinates mate :)
  16. Imagine this amound of smoke in current version of DCS... I believe it would "shut down the Internet"
  17. Following that logic, Microsoft could win any and all cases on court against software producers. Let's make it simple: You buy a TV. For some reason - you watch it in a mirror and change channels with a stick. Then TV making company sues you and wants compensation for the usage of mirror and stick.
  18. Nevermind - I hope they will read this and implement it when they find time and resources. Thanks for joining the discussion mate :) Yes, it is a better idea. Should've put it into voting options.... But as I said... I hope they will read this and see the significance. Uhm... It is rare to see software that gives you that kind of control, even if you have 2 sound cards... If you can make it split that way (in game channels that are presented in sliders in setup) trouhg lua script, then just buy an USB sound card. :)
  19. Well, that is mainly what I was thinking about. A complete service for users within the simulator itself.
  20. I tried that before posting, thanks, but it doesn't work for me. So now I do it like this: I paste the skin file in the TempTextures, load the mission with the plane I work on, and whenever I paste the new version of file and alt+tab to DCS it applies the new skin file. However, if you add a new skin file into TempTextures while plane is loaded - it won't affect it since the file wasn't there on mission load. So if you, for example, work on Su25T which has like more than 8 files implemented into a complete skin, if you paste only one into TT folder and load the mission, you must exit and load again when you add second file. With Dual Core at 3.0 and 8 GB RAM it's stable even while I have 8 files opened for editing. Dunno how it would work when you edit 3D model, but for skinning it solves problem if someone else can't fix it with your proposed fix. Thanks for being helpful anyway :)
  21. No, no, nothing like that :) As for roundel, I'll probably get more into skinning from now, since I always wanted to. I work in graphic industry, so it's kinda not a big bother to me, since I obviously like flying :pilotfly: I want to make some skins made according to real-life paint schemes, but having a go with stuff like this is what attracts me as well. :) I hope I'll be a good addition to skinning community. As for the process of creating itself, it's a bit buggy at start, before you get to know the skin-model (let's just call it like that), you know - the joints and stuff...but I check changes in a live preview in DCS. Thanks mate, it's an honour to be praised by someone with a lot more experience :)
  22. Well, I didn't want to hop into complicated skins immediately. And...it is not so plain to make all parts fit when you wrap it around 3D model :D Not if you're new in skinning :D And remember it's a work-in-progress :) Thanks :)
  23. There will be some low visibility decals and couple of fixes to the current state applied. After I finish it, I'll put it for download on Main Site
  24. So...it is work in progress, inspired by colors of Serbian MiG29. There are faults, but it is work in progress, so... But if there's something drasticly wrong - say it man :D 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.
  25. If there's a set weapon for certain airplane in mission, you will get the default payload whenever you respawn.
