I'm curious about the HDD display features: in FC module that's only an (almost useless) HUD repeater. Dunno how it works in real life, but can we expect some other functions in the Full-Fi module?

Ok, played 9p1 again disabling mods and leaving the DCT untounched: all went fine. Case closed, thank you. -

Hi @Badger633 , the mission is really short so I will try it again, this time disabling my mods and leaving the DTC unchanged just to be sure (I'll let you know). Did't noticed the "joinig port" thing (I flown the 1st legs at around 300 knots, using the ATC to not go overspeed), I'll kep an eye open for that this time. -
Hi, seen this yesterday evening playing Mission 9 part 1 (simplified AAR) with latest game client version (v2.9.15.9599). Its another "cosmetical" problem since in the end does not block you from completing the mission but it might be confusing: After launch, when I reached the 7NM distance from Abe I was prompted to switch PRI 2 to contact Strike, but when I did so the dialogue didn't trigger (I did't hear the "squelch" sound when I switch the channel), and the prompt message remained on the screen (see 1st picure below). I tried several times to switch back and forth the channel to force the tirgger to fire but nothing. Same occured when I reached Fujairah control area: switched to AUX 2 when prompted but no communication with the tower occured, and again no "squelch"sound was played (see 2nd picture blow). Again, I have no tracks (I think I had disabled the feature for a performance issue long time agoo editing some config file but I can't remeber how to undo that), I hope the pics I got can help. The switch channel system worked fine so far, at least with previous versions: yesteday weas actually the first time I played DCS with version v2.9.15.9599, so I can't tell if the problem is related to the update or not. Dunno if this might be related: I edited the DTC at the mission begin to change the CMDS MAN1 program from "1 Chaff + 1 Flare x10 times" to the more conservative "2 Chaff + 1 Flare x 2 times". Finally: only mods I'm using are the A-4E and T-45 planes.

Hi, I seen a couple of weird things in mission 8. None is of them in critical, just "cosmetic", so no hurry: take your time :-) 1) At target area, I was not able to locate laser designation with TPOD, however when I flown past the targets, they both suddenly exploded in quick succession, making the mission to advance to "go to Tanker" part. (maybe my wingman hit both?) 2) I got the Generator failure when I was already on the carrier deck, trying to part the plane (looks like a trigger fired too late). Seen both with latest DCS clietn version (v2.9.15.9408).

It simply depends on what agreement RB and ED will find for the damages.

No, I'm not ignoring the damages: they simply are part of a diffrent computation, which will become relevant only after the settle of the dispute in the court. And you are wrong: RB might get its money (whole or in part) even if they had to pay damages to ED.

We already discussed that many pages ago: even if ED was still selling RB modules does not mean they can keep RB share: once this dispute will be settled, ED will have to give RB his part of the revenues. There is no need of evidences for this, that's just how commerce laws works in all democratic contry of this planet.

I pay you so I blame you. Your approach is a bit too simplistic my friend. ED is trying to "get in order is house" as you said, however the problem does not depend on them alone.

That's a completely wrong context: no one here said that RB is blocking other devs to support their own modules. RB stopped the support and development of its own modules: in that contex (which is the correct one), saying "block" or "not doing" is exacly the same. About the right of ED to access/use RB code, it depends from the conditions of the contract they both have signed, so ED may have the rights to do it, if the contract conditions stated that. Since no one of us knows exaclty what these conditins says, discussign what ED "has" or "has not" the right to do is just pure speculation.

And what is the difference between "blocking" and "not doing it"? Can you please explain us all? They could have kept the support for the module active, at least for critical bugs like the radar time bomb found some moths ago: they could have said "we will do our best to keep the module playable as it is now, but we can't go on working on the new features for free". They would have gotten much more support from users this way. Instead they opted for a "from this very moment we won't do anyting untill we get paid. If you need help ask (and blame) ED".

Ending the contract also means to actually kill the modules. Do you think customers would have been happy with such a decision taken by ED? People would go to the ED headquarters with torches and pitchforks! ED has his share of blame, but again, is RB that put on this blackmail while they cound have handled the dispute in a different way.

They had all the time to really finish most of them before this s**t exploded. But they did't, and the reason is not "evil ED did't pay us". Try ask Zambrano where is the Harrier full manual he promised us many years ago...
