Hi, seen this yesterday evening playing Mission 9 part 1 (simplified AAR) with latest game client version (v2.9.15.9599). Its another "cosmetical" problem since in the end does not block you from completing the mission but it might be confusing: After launch, when I reached the 7NM distance from Abe I was prompted to switch PRI 2 to contact Strike, but when I did so the dialogue didn't trigger (I did't hear the "squelch" sound when I switch the channel), and the prompt message remained on the screen (see 1st picure below). I tried several times to switch back and forth the channel to force the tirgger to fire but nothing. Same occured when I reached Fujairah control area: switched to AUX 2 when prompted but no communication with the tower occured, and again no "squelch"sound was played (see 2nd picture blow). Again, I have no tracks (I think I had disabled the feature for a performance issue long time agoo editing some config file but I can't remeber how to undo that), I hope the pics I got can help. The switch channel system worked fine so far, at least with previous versions: yesteday weas actually the first time I played DCS with version v2.9.15.9599, so I can't tell if the problem is related to the update or not. Dunno if this might be related: I edited the DTC at the mission begin to change the CMDS MAN1 program from "1 Chaff + 1 Flare x10 times" to the more conservative "2 Chaff + 1 Flare x 2 times". Finally: only mods I'm using are the A-4E and T-45 planes.

	- Simplified AAR version of the mission. - A-4E and T-45 planes mods installed. - No tracks unfortunately (I always had troubles saving tracks files). Yep: missing LST lock might be my fault so just ignore it

Hi, I seen a couple of weird things in mission 8. None is of them in critical, just "cosmetic", so no hurry: take your time :-) 1) At target area, I was not able to locate laser designation with TPOD, however when I flown past the targets, they both suddenly exploded in quick succession, making the mission to advance to "go to Tanker" part. (maybe my wingman hit both?) 2) I got the Generator failure when I was already on the carrier deck, trying to part the plane (looks like a trigger fired too late). Seen both with latest DCS clietn version (v2.9.15.9408).

TrackIR wireless clip battery replacementLordOrion replied to LordOrion's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software Little update after a while: the second battery has arrived but... it does not work! The IR clips turn on but then turns off after a few seconds of work so maybe there is something else which is dead in my clip. In the end I gave up, returned the second battery and ordered a new IR clip on Amazon, which I just received and, surprise, it works ok (at last) Help me say "bye bye" to 70 euros...

TrackIR wireless clip battery replacementLordOrion replied to LordOrion's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software In the end I opted for the 300mA version (better be conservative), which also has the correct black-on-left polarity. It will arrive on Friday 11...

TrackIR wireless clip battery replacementLordOrion replied to LordOrion's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software Uhm... I've received the new battery but looks like the connector pitch was worng (1.25mm, I need 2mm). My fault: I should have checked before (I will return it). In the meantime I found another one which is compatible, but the I have to choose between: 300mA, 1.11W 500mA, 1.5W 1200mA, 4.44W Which one is the right/better in your opinion? https://www.amazon.it/Batteria-LIPO-300-mAh-Polazione/dp/B0C66BRMM5/

TrackIR wireless clip battery replacementLordOrion replied to LordOrion's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software Unfortunately the battery is really gone: I've connected to to the charging cable and measured the voltage wich seems to be ok (approx 5Volts). However, I left it charing the whole night and once disconnected the voltage was back to less than 4Volts. I've removed the silver envelopment: still no markings but a strange stink... I gave up at this point, I will buy another clip asap.

TrackIR wireless clip battery replacementLordOrion replied to LordOrion's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software I won't open the silver envelopment now (better do it tomorrow with the light), here is a detail (fron and back) of the circuit: connections seems to be ok: My multimeter says there are 3.88Volts between the 2 metallic strips that goes into the silver envelopment, but the same voltage is present between the soderings of the red/back cables and at the top of the connector to the clip socket. Looks like the battery might be still good after all...

TrackIR wireless clip battery replacementLordOrion replied to LordOrion's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software I did but, as you can see below, the situation does not change too much (no markings), apart for the fact that I found there is a small circuit on the battery top (voltage regulator for recharge?). Looks like this is a custom made/modified battery for the purpose.

After 5 years of honored service the battery of my wireless TrackIR IR led clip (which actually is a wireless clone of the official IR led clip) has decided to "retire" and can't be charged anymore. The clip itself still works in wired mode: I can buy a new one on Amazon, but before paying 60+ euros for a new clip I wander if it is possible to find a replacement for the battery... anyone know what kind of battery could fit it? I took a pic of the dismountetd battery (actually it was just taped to the clip), no other markings that the one you see:
