I just recently got into the BS2.. having never flew it and not knowing what was needed and what was just fluff, I got a chance to learn from a hoggit guy who taught me what was really needed. After that flight, I was able to set up my HOTAS with what made sense to me. Commands I just set up on my stick are as follows gun fire weapon release Shkval slow slew Uncage shkval lock target gates expand and reduce increase/reduce shkval field of view toggle hover trim master arm Start/stop countermeasures.. Aircraft lights on steady while idling on the ground until just before moving. Aircraft will switch to flashing before taxi and will remain flashing through flight until parked. -Damien

yeah.. it's like riding a sled across the runway.. That said.. most difficult thing about the belly landing is trying to explain it to the crew chief and maintenance.. -Damien

If you're using the TM Warthog, there have been a few people who have noticed a problem with turning on NWS and personally, I could not get the laser to fire via the same button.. The fix seems to be going into options, clearing the NWS joystick assignment button and then re-assigning the NWS steering assignment to the same button. It fixed my laser problem and has fixed the NWS problem some are having. Hope this helps -Damien

I'd had the same issue during the quick start mission that I could not fire the laser using the NWS button on my TM Warthog.. The insert keyboard key worked fine. The clear and reassign trick worked for me. -Damien

because of the way the TGP is set up, it may show M or a flashing M even with nothing blocking it. It does this based on the possibility of any possible type of armament being mounted and blocking it at certain angles. -Damien

you start the mission already in flight with no option to change the loadout. Did they set up the mission so you needed to RTB to rearm to complete the mission? -Damien

Note that you do not need to repurchase A-10C.. When asked for the serial number, Just use the serial # included in the software package you bought. Enjoy! -Damien

In the A-10C Instant action mission (Georgia in spring) it appears that the bombs are no longer as effective as they once were. It took 2 GBU-12's and 2 GBU-38's tonight in order to destroy the bridge (Wpt 4) this last time around. Before all these patches it only took one. All bombs were dead on and hit their mark. Anybody got any ideas?:helpsmilie: -Damien

I don't believe you can use your CD key from this page to activate your steam version. If you purchased from this site, you need to download from this site and use the CD key from this site to activate. -Damien

Here is a video demonstrating that A-10C works fine and KA-50 BS2 does not work. I ran the TrackIR software right next to the windowed mode so you can see that I've got TrackIR working fine and BS2 is not tracking. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSK6hdCRRug -Damien

The positioning of the TIR5 is fine. If the pause mode was enabled, I would have 2 red leds on the sides. If the TIR5 wasn't seeing all of the reflectors, one of the two green LED's would turn off. The dots are centered in the camera. I'm going to see if I can set up windowed mode so I can show trackIR software tracking while BS2 IA mission not tracking. -Damien

I'm not selecting anything other than loading up the game and loading the Instant Action mission. There is an instant action (IA) mission named KA-50 Arcade. It starts outside of the aircraft but if I hit F1, I'm put into the cockpit. The head tracking in this specific IA mission works just fine. -Damien
