  1. Thank Airshow Fan for this. He told me he wanted a print/poster of our movie picture so I asked him if he would like something else added and I asked him, then I added the backround picture and he says it looks great and he wants a poster of it. So if any of you guys want some prints done, contact me at virtualtomcatters@hotmail.com and we can sort the stuff out once I get back to you or just add me to MSN Messanger.
  2. Those are the topic rules so if your thread didnt avid by those rules it was probably deleted or it was just gone because numerous topics were created and the old ones get pushed into the history section which you can only find in the "Search" tool.
  3. Technically on a real aircraft, no. In LOMAC, their always on because the battery never runs out. But yes the avionics should be off during the engines start, but you can pop them on once done or in process(60%) of spooling. The only thing that should be on during start-up is the battery and generators.
  4. yeah I wanted to say that to Cos cause I thought he was putting it together.
  5. MAN u got my hopes up of me thinking I would be able to use an actually F-14D instead of the A in my video lol. Alright well keep me updated about how its all going, but it sure looks completed but skinless :P. I will try and send you some good photos of the squad...once I get a few :music_whistling: .
  6. OMG!!!!!!!!! look at that....;D there is a girl in my school that looks something like that and guess what, I cant tell you the rest :P.
  7. @Scart - hey you didnt make that model for LOMAC did you? cause if you did its a great looking F-14D. If it is for LOMAC make a mod of it and post it online cause I would love to use it and make the skins compatiable for that! I like the VF-101 Grim Reaper skin by the way.
  8. yeah, we use a pre-painted template for the natural look of the F-14 but I just editted the tail fins/nose/bottom fins, etc. I gotta get working on the real emblem on Felix 2's inside fins because that NK is making me mad cause the others say AJ :P.
  9. Yup, it sure is:thumbsup: , but won't be finished for a while! So sorry to keep you all waiting...:juggle:
  10. ummm the minimum requirement for FS:X I read was 1 GB or ram, so I would head out and buy another before you install :P
  11. oh man, i used to have that on the downstairs computer with counter-strike. boy did it make me mad!!!!, come to find out it was the problem of not having a graphics card and bad processor :P.
  12. yo GA, whats up with your website man? i can help you with your website if you would like since you say you didnt get the help you were expecting. pop on msn some time and we can talk!
  13. All I can say is crack out the map of the crimean peninsula and find out where that is because i could not tell you. I can just take a guess of that being 1-200 miles Northeast of your aircraft but sorry if that isnt much help. Besides what are you trying to know their coordinates for anyways? if you know what friendlys and enemies are on your radar, just keep on course with those waypoints and they will take you right for a bandit, and nowhere near a friendly Hawkeye :P.
  14. haha I got a great sound of the F-117 starting up that I should make for LOMAC. I was right next to one and recorded it on video, so I got the moan of both engines grunting and starting up, its got a very unique sound to it :).
  15. Your finally getting somewhere!:smilewink: @Vekkinho - my FPS is great!
  16. haha!, alright. the amount of altitude has only a little to do with the size of the cone other than the throttle percentage. From the two pics I have an example of, one at high alt and one at low alt on a carrier deck, their about the same size arnt they? So how does altitude affect the thrust output quantity? Yes I know high altitude is refered to as "Density Altitude" but it doesnt change the amount of throttle the engines are running at. I guarantee you if ya look at those pictures of those planes at a darker environment, you would see they are all large. But like that Su-27 for example, he is only at about 85% and he could really crank it up if he wanted. The size of the afterburner cones also reflect the quality of how well the fuel is being burned. Look at the Strike Eagle in your picture to the F-15 in LOMAC and their nozzles, they look just the same as if it was at "Idle" but once you crank it up to 90%+ the nozzles change and get larger.
  17. So you mean to say these arent realistic? Yeah the ones in LOMAC get thinner as they get bigger but they look real to me!
  18. I like what I did to mine, changed the color and changed the original cone circles to something better.:) I dislike the short one that is way unrealistic, the extra long is more real but mine has a normal realistic length and nice output display. I combined two different files together and I like the result basically :P.
  19. that heart is omg, soo great!! Just wait for my whole squadron of 10 F-14's flyby in a wedge at 2007 :P
  20. I know what I am doing in hosting the server with icp/udp etc. but I just cant get a client to connect. I will host a server with a program and then upload a media file to it to play it and then get somebody to connect to my ip/server address to start streaming it but it isnt working!!!! I think this is for Windows Server 2003 Operating System, I might buy a computer just for a server and use that :-P
  21. the long one is definitally more realistic! i sure hope the smaller cones are from a lower throttle percent because if not something is really wrong. the F-15 has a full AB cone of about 15-30 feet, as for the one of the tomcat I provided will represent it as 40 feet and over :).
