  1. Hmmmmm . . . . . . and a Harrier?
  2. Hi Guys, Just a question if any of you can confirm the following: During an ILS approach, the small box that indicates if you are above or below the glide-slope or left or right of the glide-slope seems to have the horizontal arrows indicating the direction you need to steer - reversed. The vertical arrows point down if you are above the glide-slope indicating you need to descend - correct. But . . . . the horizontal indicators point in the opposite direction you need to go to. With the box on the left (you are on the right of the glide-slope) the arrow is pointing to the right - away from the direction you need to go. Thanks, Cats . . .

    Jamming

  4. Saw the pics and noticed blue flame in the daylight. IRL, the blue won't show in daylight just the orange. Not until lower light conditions will the blue begin to show. Looking good at this stage.

    Jamming

Just read this on another thread from Zeus which indicates DCS has more than just noise jamming which include false tracks but it is up to the developer to invoke. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2794336&postcount=36

I did yesterday at FL350 against an Su-27. All BVR missiles on both sides spoofed and ended up low in a turning fight in the mountains. SU-27 could not shake me. Lots of fun. Nothing is guaranteed. :)
  7. Sour grapes. Not the kind of post to win friends or influence people. Bad-mouth the guy you are trying to do business with. He seems to make it personal - - - this is a business issue I suspect of which we have no business in knowing. Real smart!
  8. Interesting video - however, this is a public forum and the language in the video seems a bit extreme considering the range of the viewing audience.

Not even with guns selected? Then switch back to 530's?
  10. Do the sentinels exist as a regular squadron or are they a subset of Maddog?
  11. Me too. That's what made me think of press/release on trigger one.

Thanks, I just let go of the stick on wheels down and it stays front wheel up and stable and descends slowly with air brakes applied. I'll check out the stick back issue. Keeping the HUD info stable now is great (speed brackets etc.) and the AOA stays stable without major throttle or stick adjustment. Very nice!
  13. Hi Dec, No, been around for a bit. :detective: Lots of questions on that and lots of replies. I think there was reference in one of the changelogs. If you have a two stage trigger, you may find it works fine to map the switch to the first trigger. Works for me on my WH. One less thing to think of when engaging bandits. Cheers.

  15. Wise men use the search feature because they are; Fools because they are not. :) Not Plato
  16. THIS! and . . . I will be more than glad to pay for this mod. Make it JSGME compatible and it is so easy to manage when updates are due.

    AUTO START

I was having difficulty with the last patch trying to start the aircraft. Watching the sequence of the startup after initiating the autostart helped me to locate the one switch that I had not engaged. I prefer to engage the manual start procedures but find that the autostart feature is a nice add-on for those that prefer it.
  18. +1 I can confirm this. I tested this and can reproduce the same issue each time. BUG in my opinion.

    Keybinding Thread

Great stuff Rlaxoxo - works like a charm in JSGME. One question: I have not been able to get "Previous Waypoint" to work. "Next Waypoint" works fine but not "Previous". I've tested with JS bindings and also Key bindings with no joy. Is it working for you? Thanks, Cats . . . .
  21. Will locate and check. Can you point me to the area? I've looked through the manuals and cannot find a fuel emergency shut of valve. Found it. Thanks for the heads-up. Starts fine now.
  22. No probs. Did some research and found the switches but . . . can't get the engine started. No prob pre-patch. All working OK. Tried my stick settings and also keyboard but still no cigar. Puzzled. Anything new . . . parking brake is on, everything else is nominal.
