Windows 10 Thrustmaster HOTAS problems
Davee replied to tonyswash's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
WH HOTAS Compatibility mode I run mine in compatibility for Windows 7 mode and . . . . run as administrator. Works fine. -
Regrettably but understandable, there is a difference between the FC3 aircraft and the new advanced aircraft coming off the line that can only be neutralized by mission designers and server admins at this time. Not in aircraft feature adjustment. (IMHO) Eventually, conversion of old to new will resolve some of the issues but not resolve the issue of separate generation aircraft in the same mission. Again, mission designer issues. It's the pilot - not the aircraft.

No training missions for Mirage 2000 in DCS World
Davee replied to BattleAxes Skinner's topic in M-2000
At this time in the stage of development of the M2000C, you may find some information here. https://www.youtube.com/user/4023446/featured Cheers, -

Hi Zeus, Projected time for the countdown delay between launches? Thanks, Cats . . .

127, 255, 511 or generally . . . . . . 2 weeks. :)

Annoyance transition to positive perspective At first I was annoyed that updates to the Mirage 2000C ceased to be arriving weekly. The RAZBAM developers are excellent in dialogue in pursuit of negative and positive issues and in advising progress on subsequent correction and advising in general terms when the corrections/new features expect to be available. This is the best interraction with a Dev that I have experienced when testing a module other than being an inside beta tester in the past. Bar none! But . . . . methinks, that there is something much larger about to happen involving integration of features and the stage of development of the bigger update event - "converence of the versions". Just a hunch on my part because, IMHO, it would be essential for ED to ensure that the latest updates on all modules, from all Devs, would integrate seamslessy at this stage and not compromise the major release of 2.5 or a stage thereto. It would be a PR nightmare for a glitch to compromise the greater event and a major blow to ED overall in terms of perceived product quality. I do believe that the Devs and ED are acting in the best interests of the product. Having said that . . . . from my experience in project management, it is essential to have dedicated communications channels to manage client expectations. A brief word right now would be much appreciated. It's all good in the end!!

+1 Knowing updates are finished and awaiting deliver for the Mirage 2000C and having to wait several weeks for an ED delivery is not helping RAZBAM retain clientelle who may easily drift off to other products due to frustrations in place with takeoff issues for example. How hard is it for ED to package up an individual developer's update and release it?

This is known Chris, Please check the other threads for this information. Cheers,

Hi Zeus, Any confirmation to my observation? I had another look today and I'm still convinced of the reversal. Thanks, Cats . . . .

Hmmmmm . . . . . . and a Harrier?

Hi Guys, Just a question if any of you can confirm the following: During an ILS approach, the small box that indicates if you are above or below the glide-slope or left or right of the glide-slope seems to have the horizontal arrows indicating the direction you need to steer - reversed. The vertical arrows point down if you are above the glide-slope indicating you need to descend - correct. But . . . . the horizontal indicators point in the opposite direction you need to go to. With the box on the left (you are on the right of the glide-slope) the arrow is pointing to the right - away from the direction you need to go. Thanks, Cats . . .

Saw the pics and noticed blue flame in the daylight. IRL, the blue won't show in daylight just the orange. Not until lower light conditions will the blue begin to show. Looking good at this stage.

Sour grapes. Not the kind of post to win friends or influence people. Bad-mouth the guy you are trying to do business with. He seems to make it personal - - - this is a business issue I suspect of which we have no business in knowing. Real smart!
