  1. Specifically tested in P51, P47 and Spit. Trim is not working. Cockpit shows controls moving to input but no affect on the actual flight model.
  2. Canada Only! $655. CDN Purchaser pays shipping and other applicable fees. Used - like new Thrustmaster F-18 Joystick, Thrustmaster Ava base (used 3 months) and VKB deskmount. Original cost over $900 CDN after shipping, duties and taxes. Selling as I switched to a Force Feedback setup.
  3. Title says it all. Gunsight reticle brightness control not binding.
  4. Title says it all. Trees adjacent to 08 Weisbaden threshold. Great Map!
  5. In addition to the western expansion of the map, I'm hoping that the RCAF contribution to the cold war is not forgotten with three fighter wings. #1 Wing at Marville France, #2 Fighter Wing at Grostenquin France, and 3 Fighter Wing at Zweibrucken (Deux Ponts) and #1 Airdivision Headquarters Metz France. Initially F86's then F104's. I remember it well.
  6. Latest upgrade, the Altitude and Boost gauges are unreadable due to the heavy green tint. Too dark. Thanks, Oooopsy, found the fix a few posts earlier. Mod for clear glass in the Save Games Folder.
  7. In frustration with the WW2 scenario in DCS, I have almost gone over to the dark-side. However, the redeeming part of DCS Warbirds is the fidelity which makes me hang on. BUT, a new WW2 Pacific Theatre sim has been announced that has really attracted my interest. Depending on how that one is presented, it will pose a decision making effort for me to remain with DCS. This after years of flying DCS and many modules. A sad feeling indeed. Abandoned to the n'th degree in perception. I would really like to see a dedicated and detailed statement from ED on what is in the WW2 works for all DCS warbirds and the core engine regarding influences in that theatre. Cats . . .
  8. For me, I manage the approach and landing just fine after years of working to perfect it in DCS. However, the one issue that bugs me the most is that after a nice smooth landing, on the run out, sure as heck a wing will dip and hit the ground. Even after being level for quite some time. I do know the technique of dancing on the rudders, but after watching many cockpit vids and landing views available at airshows, I don't see the pilots having to fight the yaw as much as in DCS. And yes, my aircraft is trimmed before final and no excessive engine throttle changes that might increase yaw when applying or reducing power power. I just am of the opinion that the Spit needs further evaluation by the developers. Just my two cents. Cheers, Cats . . .
  9. Hi,

I thought you had stood down 441?

    Hopefully, you are active?

    Thanks,

  10. Useless question without providing definition of Good, Better, Best. What is the context of the question?
  11. By any chance were you coming out of AP just before that? For me, I notice the "exteme" nose up if I have been in AP, disconnected, then started my approach with gear and flaps and trimming to onspeed around 220 knots. Need to fight it to keep nose level.
  12. Don't think they are the best for a 4090. Many settings are good for 2d but not for the Pimax Crystal. No need for example - vsync on or AF 16x. Just run it in Anti-Aliasing DLSS - Quality. Terrain objects can stay default. Clear, fast, no FR needed either.
  13. Hi, F-18 Throttle on II Base Pinky finger three way switch not working correctly. Checked tru/false log and it is incorrect between Switch 3,4,5. I could correct this if I new how to edit the file. Checked everywhere and most files are coded. This was corrected in the previous version and is now back again. Or where to get a previous version before DL version 1.10.47 ? Any ideas? Thanks
  14. In NAV mode, the velocity vector drift will not center when pressing the Left Multifunction Button as described in the manual. Thanks

  15. Thanks. Overlooked that one.
  16. Exactly, can't find a toggle anywhere. Looks the same to me.
  17. disregard
  18. I think it is fantastic. For years I have wanted improvement in spotting both distant but primarily against the ground. I fly WWII primarily. This upgrade is super for spotting now both in 2d @ 4k and in VR. Thanks ED.
  19. As the title says. In VR, in F15E crash to desktop when loading mission files. Mission quick start ready on ramp. No issues in 2d. Appears to be textures. Attached two crash files. Thanks dcs.20230831-215840.crash dcs.20230831-215527.crash
  20. The problem was a 0 setting in the VR forced IPD settings. Moved it up to 10 and all works fine. Hi, title says it all. When in VR and using mouse or not using mouse, the pointer will flicker and disappear when hovering over buttons. This makes it hard to ensure that it is over the correct button. Has anyone experienced this and corrected the issue, or determined where it might lie? Cheers,
  21. Be very careful how you word things in public!
  22. I see the same!
  23. Flying the P51 in long climb to 25,000 within advised engine settings, had to watch temps and switch rads open and auto as oil and coolant temps climbed to max on a continual basis. Climb speed 200 mph. RPM 2700. Boost 45 lbs. (maintained 45 lbs as altitude and engine boost kicked in) Mission was Blue Nose Bastards . . . . by Reflected.
