Carrier radial Hi, maybe this helps you understand. It’s a graphical display of a Case 3 recovery, that relies on carrier radial intercept. What will be important for you is: - the course of the carrier (BRC) - here it is 010 - the radial of the landing deck - always -10 degrees (360) - the approach radial - opposite to landing radial (180) - your course towards radial intercept - ( Marshal radial) That means simplified: 1) Approach the carrier on the Marshal radial 2) Turn in towards approach Radial (Switch course setting accordingly) 3) Have a controlled decent towards glideslope 4) Capture glideslope and Land safely If you have the Supercarrier Module, mother will give you the radial Information so you can set up your approach. I also have the experience, that she feels quite „wobbly“. Trying to line up for a shot is one hell of a challenge - air and ground. I love the feel of the engine-torque, but even when I don’t touch the throttle, have it set at medium settings,she is a real beast to tame. In A/G i can observe a tendency to side slip when I am leveling in for the attack, in A/A her nose keeps dancing around the center line of the aircraft. Most A/A kills I get are a result of „spraying“ the target. I guess it just is a new level of piston plane simulation and I have to learn her a bit more. She seems to like the rudder dance quite a lot. Anyways, it’s one beautifully designed module and it gives me quite a challenge, so currently I am still very pleased. Regarding the carrier itself, will the HB Forrestal class carrier be “just a detailed model” or will it include the SC mechanics? Yeah, a little more power for our graphics card would be great linking forward to Vulkan support and of course the next NVidia Generation.
