while that might be correct for an indie developer, it's no way to run a professional company. Imagine Microsoft putting out the next windows without any kind of bug fixing...
And saying that DCS World is free is just a marketing strategy. You basically pay for the whole engine and map everytime you buy a module.
There are alot of people who want to fly the F 35. There are however not as many people who want to give money to something that they will recieve in at least two years from an unknown developer.
I'm pretty optimistic for a pessimist.
I don't think anybody knows exactly what they mean.
It's very unclear wether they mean adding money from their company to the KS goal or to the overall goal to develop the F-35.
Well, if they inject money into the KS and then, during development, run out of money (I'm not saying they are going to) and can't deliver the rewards they would be in pretty big trouble.
Why is everybody saying that the touchscreen will be "hard" to code.
Isn't it just the same as the A10 MFCD's with the clickspots ON the screen instead of buttons around it?
Yup, just leave it at full power it will auto adjust whenever the rotor speed changes because of collective or altitude changes. That's also why the "manual mode" is called emergency. :)
Just hook your iPad up to your pc and drop the manual in there.
Or try uploading the manual to a private dropbox account and open it on your iPad with the dropbox app.
I have heard that the touchscreens are made up of alot of smaller panels so they should never all fail at the same time. If they do fail tough I think you have bigger problems anyway :D
I know, Tim Schäfer didn't need a Kickstarter too.
I just think it's sad that alot of projects don't get funded while AAA developers get millions. I'm not saying that KI is a AAA developer, I just think KS should be a "last resort" for funding.
You don't have to watch sideslip at all in the A10 as long as the SAS works. Otherwise the slip indicator is your only reference. Just apply ruder to keep the ball between the lines and you're golden.
