  1. Great, but my concern about people not understanding it still worries me though:cry:
  2. Of course it would, my main concern is that even if explained properly and in depth a lot of backers will simply start complaining thinking that they wouldnt get the promised 3 flyables. So I keep suggesting that we let the project be as it is and start restructuring right after it closes and the money is secure.
  3. Map indeed, but it wont change anything now.It should be on the top of the priority list already.
  4. Im pretty sure it was a mistake, but when you have people giving you their money while being promised they will get something and then you give them less than promised, that would be a low blow and could hurt the reputation of the team. Now as I said, after the kickstarter, if there is another crowd funding or simply the final product offering we cant have 3 flyables for free.
  5. Maybe I didnt explain my thoughts clearly, promising 3 aircraft to backers and then only giving them one is NOT what I meant.Im talking about the final product offerings for the general public ie. those who didnt pledge during the Kickstarter.
  6. Well at least after honoring the backers that were promised the 3 initial flyables, I think it is a great idea to indeed just offer one flyable afterwards.3 planes is just too much, specially for a highly detailed and labor intensive models like the ones on DCS.So after the kickstarter ends you can start re structuring the offers at release, make a poll and let the audience pick the aircraft they believe should be free with DCS WW2 and put a reasonable price on the other two. I suggest that the free flyable should be the Thunderbolt. That way the fighter jockeys who want to get their hands on the Spit or 109 will need to reach their pocket and give you some cash.Again this change needs to be after the Kickstarter ends just to avoid a chaotic confusion which could hurt the project.
  7. 1+ Luthier you already know what this community is willing and able to do for this project, so if you want to publish a video with a "WOW" effect contact a skilled video maker.Mysticpuma has already done some exceptional videos for DCS WW2 and offered his help to you directly.Make sure to keep this high on your priority list for this project all the way through the development stages, release and post release. You are good at what you are experienced in, let the task you are not experienced in to those who are and are willing to do it.
  8. I still cant understand why is this a big deal.Hopefully some one would enlighten me or hopefully not, I dont want it to be a big deal :)
  9. Yeah I wouldnt mind paying extra for premium quality, the thought behind my previous post was that given that there would be more demand maybe the price would come down a little but frankly I dont care.As you, the only thing that would literally put me off would be a subsription based model.
  10. With a fair ammount of flyable aircraft and since the WW2 theater is very popular I would say $30 a piece sounds more reasonable.
  11. Isnt it visible here?: Yet still it looks to be lower than the gunsight.
  12. Not true. You can definitely say the terrain is not up to par but the aircraft look beautiful.
  13. Just to clarify,, I meant to say that indeed on multiplayer the 262 needs to be limited.
  14. The key to the success of the introduction of the ME-262 is the ammount. Surely they were superior in speed and armament but a limit available jets on multi player scenarios while realistic would sort of balance out the final outcome.Remember were are not aiming at simple plane A vs plane B but rather an air war with ground targets, bombers, escorts and so on.Another key aspect about that particular plane that I would like to see modeled would be the jet engines reliability.
  15. Amazing pictures , thank you very much for sharing. That Thunderbolt looks lovely :)
  16. Excellent link!!
  17. Pretty biased show but I love it anyways and to keep with this thread topic, here is the Thunderbolt episode:
  18. This set of videos will come in handy:
  19. I agree with PMAN, though I wish we would reach the 175k mark to get Southern England in.
  20. Tell that to Team Fusion and everyone flying Cliffs currently, original version could probably not have this, but the last official version DID have it and it is still present on the current mod patch. It has been fixed on the upcoming one though
  21. Its definitely hard to track them some times but at least the transitions are smooth.
  22. That would be too much to ask for.
