  1. Wouldn't have found that on my own... Posted on that thread too, let's hope something can be done...
  2. Is there a a possibility/way to add some effects (like the one for stall in aircraft modules) so that we can feel the transition to and from ETL, or the blade stall, or the VRS all of which in RL cause the aircraft to vibrate? Can this be done? i know that the aircraft shakes visually but feeling it would be more close to reality. Also I suspect that it is not very dificult as it is already programed for the aircraft moduels and we can copy it from there!
  3. Ok will try
  4. Maybe if a few more people post their like in this the Dev's do it. I know nothing of programing but I beleive it's not that difficult. I mean other modules have these effects. Won't be that hard to just copy them I imagine...
  5. Well using one of these won't do any good. I mean when you pass ETL sound doesn't change, so buttkicker or a subwoofer won't give me any notice about that. The ability to feel these phases of flight would be nice as in RL. I know that you can see the cocpit shake but feeling it is next level to that, much more real... Not only G940 whould benefit from this but every FF user...
  6. I have noticed that the G940 Force feedback system is not used in UH-1 apart from the Trim system, whereas in other modules there are some effects like aircraft stall programmed that the stick trembles. Wouldn't be nice that in UH-1 you could feel the transition to and from ETL, or the blade stall, or the VRS all of which in RL cause the aircraft to vibrate? Can this be done?
  7. You lost everything? :megalol:
  8. Anyone using one of these? Impressions? I have read that they are top in the feeling and controlability of the heli sims... Bit expensive thought, but you get what you pay for, right?
  9. Well that's a different story. He had the power (even marginal) to get airborne. If you don't even have the power to lift even some few cm from the ground right pedal can't help out of your situation imho... Few times have I found myself (in RL) in a situation that I must take off close to maximums. I always make sure that at least I can use the 2.5min red engine temp area during takeoff (not refering to UH-1). If that is not enough I call it off... There is one last 12sec red area but won't use it for takeoff. Only for emergencies while airborne...
  10. Was he airborne or on the ground trying to take off when he did that?
  11. That wouldn't help much... As soon as you start raising the collective and the heli becomes light at it's skids, not to mention that you will have to raise maximum collective the heli will no doupt spin if you have right pedal (just think that with max coll you need max left foot). Right pedal will get you nowhere imho...
  12. In RL, messing with the GOV is forbidden. Basicaly if EGT was modeled you would see that you would melt the engine down by doing so, but it's not modelled yet. The only thing you can do in RL in such situations is running takeoff (if you have wheels), or hovering as close to the ground as you can, even 5cm and 'running' takeoff by using the in ground effect as much as you can
  13. Looks like I will never start playing the huey then...
  14. Will we? I am really not flying the huey until then. For me it's not a simulator until this feature is implemented. It's like flying with a cheat enabled... Unlimited power... Anyway we have told these things over and over again... I just hope that now that the developers have released the F-86 maybe we will see this long waiting fix...
  15. Any new about this?
  16. I would say 60-80 KIAS. Just an intuition...
  17. Μπράβο παιδιά! Keep up the excellent work!
  18. I have no such files in my Saved games/DCS Folder. Any ideas what else could be wrong?
  19. And the day that will be implemented we will all change the way we fly...
  20. By mulfunction you mean immediate failure. If let's say you keep over 700 degrees for a minute. Not in the far far future...
  21. The only thing is missing is tower comms and ils freq for every airport in case you need to land somewhere else than planned. But still the map is awesome!
  22. Well, this one is far better! Thanks a lot!
  23. Hi there, I would like to have the map of the area we fly when airborne. I have searched a bit and found this from the official ED site http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/documentation/tc-1/ I noticed that not all info is printed on it and I beleive this map is a bit old. Is there a newer one somewhere else? Thanks a lot!
  24. I haven't installed ever anything, neither modified any file
  25. I have the same problem, so what should I do to fix this?
