  1. The only problem I can see going with a Titan over a 1080 is that I'm not sure DCS will use it. Now, a guy probably uses his system for more than DCS, I know I do, but for this sim specifically, I think the bigger issues are software (no specific VR coding) and CPU based (no multicore). I'm willing to bet that even with a new version of Rift (higher resolution), it wouldn't be an issue given most of us are running a DP of 1.6 or higher and a new Rift wouldn't require that. I dunno, I've thought about buying a Titan myself, but I just can't see where the GPU is the bottleneck. Either way, I hope you enjoy it, it'll be a killer card.
  2. The future of DCS is bright and you will be a big part of it. Very much looking forward to your product but as the others have said, I can wait.
  3. Thanks Chuck. Your work is always appreciated.
  4. Don't waste your money. SLI is not supported.
  5. Personally, I'd like a Harvard II and a Hawk 100 but thats just my Canadian bias speaking :)
  6. Are you getting a beep code from the motherboard? Does your MB have a digital error readout?
  7. Very cool man!!
  8. I'll get you a copy of the prints. UPDATE: I've sent a google drive link to your email. Please confirm you have received them. If not, I'll find another way. UPDATE 2: There are no actual measurements for the backrest but I'm more than willing to provide those to you. Its a series of ribs and spars which is covered with either fiberglass or tin. I can send you photo's of my not yet completed version if you require.
  9. From just reading the statements here, I doubt you'd get 2 FPS out of a very expensive upgrade from any decent setup. If your a techno geek, I get it, I've been that guy but for a person simply wanting to fly DCS, I see no advantage. Certainly the DCS code is a bigger issue than hardware these days. (no multicore for starters)
  10. Andre will your new seat fit a Aces 2 ejection seat? http://www.simpits.org/design/HowTo_AceIIseat/HowTo_Ace1.html
  11. Yeah as stated, your coming in too hot. I keep it at about 300 and 10 degrees nose up.
  12. Andre, I downloaded the Simshaker beta last night and had a blast flying the Viggen. Your product is an absolute game changer. It adds so much immersion that I can't see ever being without one. Also, it keeps my butt from getting flat. :)
  13. I haven't seen as you describe but if you change the baro pressure your aircraft certainly gains/looses the alt hold setting. It'll still be in alt hold but higher or lower than your setting. I've always trimmed first but I'd bet that if it doesn't hold due to baro change then it doesn't for trim issues.
  14. I agree with Knock-Knock. You never notice it. Non-topic.
  15. You need to use the reverse thrust man. It's amazingly easy to bring it to a stop with that one item. No brakes needed.
  16. Yikes, sorry to hear that man. The flu is never fun. Take your time, I'm sure we can make it a few more days :)
  17. Ahh, gotcha. Thanks for the quick reply. I'll download that shortly.
  18. Hey Andre, is the seat working for the Viggen? It wasn't working in the DCS version so I downloaded the Simshaker for Aviators and still no go. I understand if its a work in progress, just want to make sure I'm not doing something wrong. Thanks.
  19. Hey John, do you have CCIP tutorial? For some reason I'm coming up short. Story of my life. :)
  20. Yeah thats going to be a lot of fun. Is there an official weapons list yet?
  21. Man I wish I could have made that Jar. Thanks for the invite though, it was much appreciated.
  22. From a group that hopes to one day actually be a navy squadron, thanks for the effort and I really, really look forward to it.
  23. 1.5DP and its all pritty good to read except the weapons select and ripple dials. I'm seeing the same FPS problems but I assume that to be open beta issues, not module related. So far, to be honest, I think its the best module I've flown in an early access form. I probably won't fly the F5 anymore because of it. It feels great in VR. I was worried about the Maverick "sight" but its no issue. The radar is also easy enough to identify targets on. Overall, very pleased.
  24. I ordered 4 from Sahaj. 3 went to the US and one came to me in Canada. I think it took less than 2 weeks. Easy guy to deal with and I had no issue at all with communication. That being said I do own Crosswinds and you'd have to pry them from my cold dead body to get them from me. I doubt you can go wrong either way.
