  1. She is the essence of evil and probably a hell of a good laugh at the same time :)
  2. Its crap.
  3. I've always loved the Bluenose squadron markings. Great work!!
  4. Interesting concept. I like the idea but I think the wife would shoot me! :)
  5. I wouldn't think it would be an issue. If your turn up your DP the resolution can easily get higher that 1440p. This would allow for the DP to perhaps stay at 1.0 and very similar FPS.
  6. I certainly could be wrong but I would think the entire program (DCS) would only use the one card. You can certainly add a second USB sound card for things like simshaker and etc but that uses a third party software which allows you to select the sound card to be used. I would think it would need to be coded specifically but I'm no expert.
  7. Participant: Gladman Nominated Wingman: Gunny "100 In The Break"
  8. I had a Flanker 2.0 T-shirt from when I did beta many moons ago. I see that Leatherneck has a few items you can purchase from their website. Might be a good thing.
  9. Now that looks like fun!!!
  10. So pumped for the A-4 and really looking forward to seeing what your team will be coming out with in the future. Amazing work.
  11. I'm willing to bet a fairly large percentage have built their systems for DCS specifically. I surf the net with it of course but the vast majority of use is DCS.
  12. I read the article. Basically if you have a mental condition don't use VR. If your a person that needs a safe place or are a SJW, don't use VR. However, if you realize there is a potential for nausea brought on by virtually the same effect riding a roller coaster has and are willing to deal with it, carry on. Not a good article.
  13. I have no idea what this means.
  14. Lol. That doesn't make VR crap, that makes it a ongoing process which is currently providing the absolutely most "real" experience there is. My biggest fear with posts such as yours is that you will promote a false reality that will deny people the amazing experiences available in VR. A cockpit can be created around you that would provide the real objects you are looking for. Obviously it would be specific to individual aircraft but most of the time items such as landing gear handles, throttles, and joysticks are in the same place. I know myself, the presence of the body makes a rather impressive addition to immersion. Couple that with properly placed HOTAS and the experience is nothing short of amazing.
  15. Nice work on the pit. Personally my solution for the wife would be shoot, shovel, and shut up. (joking of course)
  16. Nice!!!!
  17. Yep, I agree.
  18. I've been there with Alienware. Just don't man, just walk away.
  19. I'm almost always better than 45FPS and as far as I'm concerned ASW has made my experience much worse. That being said, once ED has the time to address the issue I firmly believe we will be better off for the advancement in tech.
  20. Andre I haven't been able to duplicate my CPU drain issue so it must have been a one off anomaly. I hope I havent caused any confusion.
  21. Everything has multiple lines (looks blurred), making them harder to see. Especially against the ground. That may be a very rudimentary interpretation but its what it appears to be to me.
  22. Labels are rarely used that is for sure. Until the implementation of ASW it wasn't necessary. For A2G it still is not needed although it is more challenging but wil A2A its at a point right now that yes it can be done but you do loose the fun portion given the struggle. I would not be surprised if more and more squads are using labels for AA combat at this point. Once ASW and DCS co-exist on a cooperative plain, it will revert. I personally hadn't flown with labels on for several years.
  23. Keep in mind that not all of us fly MP as you do. There are those of us that fly as squadrons to complete missions that may or may not include AI A2A threats. You see, for a lot of us DCS is about co-operative play and for those purposes labels work just fine in VR for MP sessions. To be honest I have been flying with DCS squadrons for a number of years now and have been on servers that are everyone for themselves or random people on either side only a handful of times. All my other rather extensive time has been spent on private MP servers working as a group to achieve goals and I've loved every minute of it.
